Abstract

Abstract: The Asset Management Information System (SIM-AS) is a series of information subsystems systematically and rationally designed to transform data into information about assets. This system supports decision-making in organizational asset management by providing high-quality information regarding the type, quantity, and location of assets. The SIM-AS was developed due to the shift from manual asset management to the use of digital technology and automated systems. The implementation of SIM-AS encompasses the entire asset lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal, to ensure data that is correct, complete, accurate, and real-time. This system is expected to improve information services and support data-driven decision-making in asset management at Politeknik XYZ. The results of this research show that the design and implementation of SIM-AS at Politeknik XYZ were successfully carried out in accordance with needs and expectations, facilitating asset management and supporting decision-making processes with accurate and real-time information..Keywords: Sistem Informasi; SIM-AS; ASET; Politeknik XyzAbstrak: Sistem Informasi Manajemen Aset (SIM-AS), adalah serangkaian subsistem informasi yang secara sistematis dan rasional dibuat untuk mengubah data menjadi informasi mengenai aset. Sistem ini mendukung pengambilan keputusan dalam pengelolaan aset organisasi dengan menyediakan informasi berkualitas mengenai jenis, jumlah, dan lokasi aset. SIM-AS dilatar belakangi oleh pergeseran dari pengelolaan aset manual ke penggunaan teknologi digital dan sistem otomatis. Implementasi SIM-AS mencakup seluruh siklus hidup aset, mulai dari pengadaan hingga penghapusan, untuk memastikan data yang benar, lengkap, akurat, dan real-time. Sistem ini diharapkan meningkatkan pelayanan informasi dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data dalam pengelolaan aset di Politeknik XYZ. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa perancangan dan implementasi SIM-AS di Politeknik XYZ berhasil dilakukan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan harapan, memudahkan dalam pengelolaan aset, serta mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan dengan informasi yang akurat dan real-time.Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi; SIM-AS; ASET; Politeknik Xyz

Abstract

Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when blood sugar levels increase excessively. This disease can cause serious complications in many body systems, especially the nerves and blood vessels. Diabetes was the third highest cause of death in Indonesia in 2019, with around 57.42 deaths per 100,000 population. This study aims to explore the relationship between accessibility of information technology and knowledge of DM among students of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha. This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach, with a sample of 96 Politeknik Piksi Ganesha students selected using the purposive sampling method, analyzed using the Fisher's Exact test. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that students' accessibility to television and radio had a significant effect on knowledge of diabetes mellitus (p 0.05). Although all students have accessibility to the internet and social media, not all of them have good knowledge of diabetes mellitus. Efforts to increase the knowledge of diabetes sufferers can be done by providing health education using various appropriate and interactive educational media

Abstract

Abstract: Sidapdap Simanosor Village Farmers Group faces challenges in accessing and managing agricultural information efficiently. Limited resources and the absence of a web-based platform hinder the distribution of information quickly and accurately. This study aims to develop a technology-based agricultural forum site to improve the accessibility of information for farmer groups. The method used is the Waterfall software development model, which includes needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results of the study indicate that the agricultural forum website can function well and provide convenience for farmer group members in accessing information, sharing experiences, and increasing collaboration between farmers. The implementation of this information technology has been proven to increase the efficiency of the agricultural information system, support sustainable agricultural practices, and encourage the growth of the agricultural sector in the area.Keywords: farmer groups, agricultural information systems, agricultural websites. Abstract: Kelompok Tani Desa Sidapdap Simanosor menghadapi tantangan dalam mengakses dan mengelola informasi pertanian secara efisien. Keterbatasan sumber daya dan tidak adanya platform berbasis web menghambat distribusi informasi yang cepat dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan situs forum pertanian berbasis teknologi guna meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi bagi kelompok tani. Metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall, yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa situs web forum pertanian dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan memberikan kemudahan bagi anggota kelompok tani dalam mengakses informasi, berbagi pengalaman, serta meningkatkan kolaborasi antarpetani. Implementasi teknologi informasi ini terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi sistem informasi pertanian, mendukung praktik pertanian berkelanjutan, serta mendorong pertumbuhan sektor pertanian di daerah tersebut.Keywords: kelompok tani, sistem informasi pertanian, situs web pertanian.

Abstract

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is a disorder in which the contents of the stomach reflux repeatedly into the esophagus (esophagus), which causes symptoms and or complications that, interfere. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of risk of GERD in respondents based on diet, lifestyle, and perceived symptoms. The method used in this study is a decision tree with the C.45 algorithm. To make a decision tree WEKA tools are used, where data obtained from the results of a questionnaire distributed to 51 respondents to determine diet and lifestyle, then to predict the risk level of GERD a web-based decision support system was built using the Php programming language and the MySQL database. The input needs consist of respondent data input, questionnaire question data input, news data input, and training data input, with process requirements that include respondent data processing, questionnaire question data processing, news data processing, questionnaire data processing, and reporting process, which will produce training data output reports by gender, training data reports by date and prediction results. This study resulted in a design of a decision support system to determine the risk level of GERD that can help medical staff aware and educate the public to recognize early symptoms of GERD disease and to help general practitioners advise patients with GERD.

Abstract

In today’s digital era, the use of information technology is essential to improve work efficiency andeffectiveness across various sectors, including the industrial sector. PT Sugindo International previouslyemployed a manual method using paper- based forms to report problematic (abnormal) products thatrequired decisions from the Quality Control (QC) department. This method was considered inefficient andprone to data loss and delays in information delivery. This study aims to design and implement a web-basedinformation system that enables operators to input data on abnormal products to be placed in a pendingarea, and allows QC to provide decisions regarding those products. The system is designed to be accessibleonly to company employees through a login process based on their respective departments, therebymaintaining data security and confidentiality. The system was developed using a UML modeling approach,including use case and activity diagrams. The results show that the system significantly improves the speed,efficiency, and documentation of the reporting and handling process of pending products. Moreover, itenhances real-time coordination between the production and QC departments without relying on paperbasedcommunication.

Abstract

Abstract: Interest in reading is decreasing over time, with the lack of literacy skills that a person has. Low interest in reading can cause errors in receiving information. The Fizzo Novel application is a free online reading application that is currently in demand by young people and even parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Fizzo Novel online reading application on the reading interest of students at the Citra Mandiri Padangsidimpuan College of Informatics and Computer Management. The approach used by researchers is a quantitative approach. The main model used in this study is End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) by adding variables of perceived usefulness and service. By using a probability sampling technique and calculated using the Slovin formula, 85 respondents were selected to be the research sample. The data analysis process used the PLS-SEM approach with SmartPLS. The results of this study indicate that user satisfaction of the Fizzo Novel application is in the Satisfied category and of the 7 hypotheses tested, there are 5 accepted hypotheses, namely the variables of accuracy, timeliness, ease of use, perceived usefulness and service. Then there are 2 hypotheses that are rejected, namely the content and format variables. These results indicate that the Fizzo Novel application has an effect on increasing reading interest among students at STMIK Citra Mandiri Padangsidimpuan. Keywords: Fizzo Novel Application; Students; EUCS Method; SmartPLS Abstrak: Minat membaca semakin lama semakin menurun, dengan minimnya keterampilanliterasi yang dimiliki seseorang. Minat baca yang rendah dapat menyebabkan kesalahan penerimaan sebuah informasi. Aplikasi fizzo novel merupakan aplikasi baca online gratis yang saat ini diminati oleh anak muda bahkan orangtua. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahuipengaruh aplikasi baca online fizzo novel terhadap minat baca mahasiswa Sekolah TinggiManajemen Informatika Dan Komputer Citra Mandiri Padangsidimpuan. Pendekatan yangdigunakan peneliti adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Model utama yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) dengan menambahkan variabel perceivedusefulness dan service. Dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel probability sampling dan dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus slovin, terpilih sebanyak 85 respondenuntuk menjadi sampel penelitian. Proses analisis data menggunakan pendekatan PLS-SEM dengan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan pengguna dari aplikasi Fizzo Novel berada pada kategori Puas dan dari 7 hipotesis yang diujikan, terdapat5 hipotesis yang diterima yaitu variabel accuracy, timeliness, ease of use, perceived usefulnessdan service. Lalu terdapat 2 hipotesis yang ditolak yaitu variabel content dan format. Abstract

The rapid development of the culinary industry demands increased efficiency and effectiveness in information management at Piksi Ganesha Polytechnic. This research aims to design a Culinary Information System using the Waterfall Method to ensure the development of a structured and organized system. The initial stage of research involves analyzing the needs of stakeholders, such as students, lecturers, and administration. This analysis becomes the basis for designing a system that meets user needs and expectations. The design process is carried out in stages, starting from overall system design, database, and user interface, to application business logic. System implementation is carried out after the design is complete, ensuring that each stage has been properly verified and validated. System testing is carried out thoroughly to ensure system quality and reliability. The results of this research indicate that the Waterfall Method provides a solid and structured framework for the development of Culinary Information Systems. Complete documentation, good risk management, and a focus on quality help ensure successful system implementation. Its suitability for stable projects makes it the right choice for the development of a Culinary Information System at Piksi Ganesha Polytechnic. The conclusions of this research contribute to further understanding of the application of the Waterfall Method in the context of information system development in educational institutions.
