Abstract

K-Pop and K-Drama, which were allegedly only dimensioned in the entertainment world, turned out to have implications for the religiosity of the audience. It has been proven that some acts of fanaticism shown by the fans resulted in the level of faith and the intensity of their worship decreasing. The spread of the Korean Wave (hallyu) which includes K-Pop and K-Drama is well packaged and visualized based on international standards, so that various demographic layers -including Islamic Religious Education students- can access it easily and at the same time enjoy it. With the increasing number of fans, the imperialism of the Korean Wave which is rooted in K-Pop and K-Drama has become a new wave of globalization The shift that arises is not only in the cultural aspect, a significant shift in religiosity is also rife. This study aims to determine the phenomenon of shifting religious values ​​due to the Korean Wave, especially K-Pop and K-Drama. This research uses an interview method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Subjects are students of Islamic Religious Education at the State Islamic University of Malang with an age category of 18 to 21 years. The results of this study showed that the subjects experience symptoms of decreased religiosity, including the intensity of studying religion is distracted by the intensity of enjoying Korean content, delaying prayers because watching idol concerts and K-Dramas, deepening the history of idols or Korean culture compared to Islamic Tarikh science, and also memorizing Korean songs more than Islamic songs. Some respondents even stated that they are more interested in learning Korean than Arabic. This phenomenon is a challenge for the world of Islamic education. However, this needs to be analyzed further in order to take lessons in Islamic da'wah both in the internal (Muslims) and external spheres. Abstrak K-Pop dan K-Drama yang disinyalir hanya berdimensi pada dunia hiburan ternyata telah mengimplikasi religiusitas para penikmatnya. Telah terbukti beberapa tindak fanatisme yang ditampakkan oleh para fans mengakibatkan kadar keimanan dan intensitas ibadah mereka menurun. Persebaran Korean Wave (hallyu) yang termasuk di dalamnya K-Pop dan K-Drama dikemas dengan apik dan divisualisasikan berdasar standar internasional, sehingga berbagai lapisan demografi -tak terkecuali mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam- dapat mengaksesnya dengan mudah juga sekaligus menggemarinya. Pergeseran yang timbul tak hanya pada aspek budaya, pergeseran religiusitas yang signifikan juga marak terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena pergeseran nilai-nilai religius akibat Korean Wave, khususnya K-Pop dan K-Drama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam Universitas Islam Negeri Malang dengan kategori usia 18 sampai 21 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa subjek mengalami gejala penurunan religiusitas, di antaranya intensitas mengkaji agama teralihkan dengan intensitas menikmati konten Korea, menunda sholat karena menonton konser idola dan K-Drama, lebih mendalami sejarah idola atau kebudayaan Korea dibanding dengan ilmu Tarikh Islam, lebih menghafal lagu-lagu Korea daripada lagu-lagu Islami, dan juga lebih tertarik belajar bahasa Korea dibanding bahasa Arab. Fenomena yang terjadi merupakan tantangan bagi dunia pendidikan Islam. Bagaimanapun hal ini perlu dianalisis lebih lanjut guna mengambil hikmah dalam dakwah Islam baik di lingkup internal (kaum muslimin) maupun lingkup eksternal.

Abstract

Multidimensional PAI learning requires a strategic method. With short portions, 3 hours of lessons the teacher must be good at combining teaching methods that are able to improve students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor competencies. The demands of digitization, an independent curriculum and the characteristics of the Z-generation that always require innovation are joint homework. One solution is discovery learning. The author raises one of its branches, namely Free Discovery learning, which is synonymous with student-centered. Starting from planning, processing and learning direction is determined independently by students. This study aims to test whether FDL (Free Discovery learning) can cover the many demands of PAI learning above with reflexivity, weaknesses and strengths from cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The author uses a qualitative descriptive method with questionnaire data collection techniques and pre-test post-test. The results of FDL in class IX PAI Islamic Middle School Sunan Giri showed a prominent increase in terms of affective, then psychomotor and a slight increase in cognitive. Some of the factors that most influence this are teacher competence, short lesson hours and the non-linearity of student presentation material with cognitive tests conducted by the teacher. Abstrak Pembelajaran PAI yang multidimensional memerlukan metode strategis. Dengan porsi singkat yakni 3 jam pelajaran dalam satu pekan, maka guru harus pandai mengkombinasikan metode ajar yang mampu meningkatkan kompetensi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa. Tuntutan digitalisasi, kurikukum merdeka dan karakteristik generasi-Z yang selalu membutuhkan inovasi menjadi PR bersama. Salah satu solusinya adalah discovery learning. Penulis mengangkat satu cabangnya yakni Free Discovery learning, yang identic dengan student-centered learning. Mulai dari perencanaan, pengolahaan dan arah belajarnya ditentukan mandiri oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji apakah FDL (Free Discovery learning) dapat meng-cover banyaknya tuntutan pembelajaran PAI di atas dengan refleksifitas (kelemahan dan kelebihan) berdasar aspek koginitf, afektif dan psikomotorik. Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data questioner dan pre-test post-test. Hasil dari FDL pada pembelajaran PAI kelas IX SMP Islam Sunan Giri menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang menonjol dari segi afektif dan psikomotor, namun sayangnya hanya sedikit peningkatan pada segi kognitif. Beberapa faktor yang paling mempengaruhi hal tersebut adalah kompetensi guru, jam pelajaran yang singkat dan ketidak linieran materi presentasi siswa dengan uji kognitif yang dilakukan guru.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the ongoing debates surrounding France and Islam over the past decade, particularly the re-emergence of laïcité as a historical ideology rooted in the late 18th century. The research aims to examine how French citizens express their perspectives on issues related to Islam, Islamofobia, and Muslim identity through narratives on Twitter, and to analyze how the racialization and marginalization of laïcité are perceived comprehensively. Using tweet harvesting for data collection and analysis facilitated by MAXQDA, the study identifies key events in 2023 that sparked public discourse: the ban on the abaya in schools and the celebration of Hanukkah at the Presidential Palace. Analysis of tweet content reveals three primary groups of public opinion: feminists (notably in the context of the abaya), nationalists who advocate for laïcité, and neutral humanists who, while often critical, also challenge the racialization of political actions. In addition to the frequent use of offensive language and calls for the exclusion of Muslims opposing government policies, secondary sources indicate tangible forms of racialization in society. These findings highlight that many view the Muslim population as outsiders, despite being born and raised in France.
