Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve mathematics learning outcomes regarding fractions through the application of the discovery learning model. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK), with the subjects in this research being class II students at SDN 2 Pancor for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 26 students. I collected data from the research through observations and tests of each cycle. We completed the pre-cycle stage before starting the two-cycle research. Analysis of data on mathematics learning outcomes for fraction material shows that there is an increase in each cycle stage, where in the pre-cycle with a contextual approach, it is known that there are 3 students with low learning outcomes who do not meet the minimum criteria for completeness, and students with medium learning outcomes who are at the minimum completeness criteria are 2 people, and 12 students with high learning outcomes who exceed the minimum completeness criteria. Then, in cycle I, all students obtained high learning outcomes and exceeded the minimum completeness criteria. Meanwhile, in cycle II, there were 2 students with moderate learning outcomes who met the minimum completeness criteria, and 14 students with high learning outcomes who exceeded the minimum completeness criteria. The results of this research indicate that the application of the discoverylearning model can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fraction material for class 2 students at SDN 3 Pancor.

Abstract

The interpretation, understanding, and practice of Islam have always been subject to diversity, with some adherents adopting a rigid, textual, and even "ferocious" stance, leading to their characterization as intolerant, extreme, radical, and even terrorist. In contrast, others adopt a softer, more flexible, and contextual approach. A pivotal factor influencing this distinction is the method of information acquisition. The Generation Z (Gen-Z) cohort, born between 1995 and 2012, is currently entering the prepubertal and pubertal phases of self-identity exploration and ideological turmoil. As the digital generation, they are immersed in an era of abundant information, including that pertaining to Islam. On the one hand, this heightened religious consciousness motivates Gen-Z to strive for piety by studying Islam through various means; on the other hand, the pursuit of piety is rigid and not local, suggesting a religiousness that is also radical.This research was conducted in South Kalimantan among a sample of Gen-Z aged 18-24 who are students. The objective of this study is to ascertain the degree to which Gen-Z in South Kalimantan appreciate and actualize wasathiyah Islam, or, conversely, whether they are religious but radical.This research is of an exploratory nature, employing a field study approach.The data collected through questionnaires addressed the level of religious consciousness, the manner in which values and Islamic teachings are lived, the means of expressing Islam, and the sources of Islamic learning utilized.The data was analyzed through simple statistical calculations and presented descriptively as a measurement of central tendency. The results indicate that, in general, Gen-Z members do not recognize the radical tendencies in their views and attitudes, particularly within a Muslim-majority community. Abstract

Penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tidak bervariasi menyebabkan siswa kurang antusias dalam pembelajaran IPS, hal tersebut berdampak pada hasil belajar IPS siswa yang kurang maksimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design jenis nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini ialah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SDN Kebun Bunga 6 dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 50 dan kelas nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 45. Adapun nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh hasil rata-rata 89,38 dan kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata 65,79. Hasil uji t posttest dengan perhitungan Independent Sample t-Test diketahui nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan thitung 7,537. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus adalah salah satu penyakit dengan penyebab kematian tertinggi di dunia. Pada penelitian ini dengan judul hubungan diet dan aktifitas fisik dengan kejadian hospital readmission pada pasien diabetes meliltus di Rumah Sakit TK II Pelamonia Makassar dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden dari 44 responden penderita diabetes mellitus. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah diketahuinya hubungan diet dan aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian hospital readmission pada pasien diabetes mellitus di Rumah Sakit TK II Pelamonia Makassar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji chi square (p<0.05), serta analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat untuk melihat hubungan dari setiap variable bebas dan variable terikat. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara diet dengan kejadian hospital readmission (p=0.026), terdapat hubungan antara aktivitas dengan kejadian hospital readmission (p=0.025). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan diet dan aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian hospital readmission pada pasien diabetes mellitus di Rumah Sakit TK II Pelamoia Makassar.
