Abstract

This research was conducted to describe (1) the value of Islamic educational background, (2) the literature product which used to develop Islamic educational background, and (3) the pattern of Islamic educational value in a fiction stories with the titled of Kecil-Kecil Punya Karya. This research was used qualitative design which applied hermeneutic text analysis procedure. The data was collected from verbal and non-verbal text which describe the habit, attitude, act and speech of the characters. Moreover, the data was collected through documentation technique. The results show that (1) the value of Islamic educational background is develop under 6 kinds of believe. They are first, the believe to God, then the believe to the Angel, the believe to the Holy book, the believe to Rasulullah, the believe to the judgement day, and the last is the believe to the destiny; (2)The literature pattern which shown in the prose that develop the Islamic educational background are consist of characters, setting and the moral value which covered in the story; (3) The pattern of Islamic educational values were divided under 4 stages. They are introduction, the value of understanding, habitual activities, and attitude. In conclusion, the researcher suggested to the parents to use those 4 stages since it is important to applied as the basic of live.

Abstract

Education becomes an important aspect in the life of people and nation. Through this education, the character of students will be formed to contribute the development of Indonesian national identity. This value or character inculcation involves three important elements; family, school and community environment. For the in instilment of character in schools, it can be integrated in a learning process including character values to be grasped directly by students. One of ways the lecturer can do is by learning to appreciate fiction prose. Students will communicate intensely with various characters from the fiction prose they read, packaged interestingly to be studied. The learning fiction prose appreciation needs to be taught and developed based on culture because it is expected by studying culture, the students will grow in love with Indonesian national culture. In this course, students are asked to find cultural values in Indonesian fiction prose. By learning this value, love of national culture, especially Bahasa, is getting stronger. This is based on the spirit that a great nation is a nation that upholds its culture. Therefore, the use of fiction prose as a means of instilling a love of the Indonesian nation's culture has proven to be effective in the dignification and internationalization of Bahasa because its status as a national language and the language of the country must be upheld.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang didasari oleh fenomena bahwa ideologi gender yang berlaku pada masyarakat dapat mewarnai karya sastra yang dihasilkan. Sebagai kreasi imajinatif, muatan ideologi gender yang diemban novel tidak dapat dilepaskan dari kehidupan masyarakat saat karya itu diciptakan. Begitu pula, novel-novel Indonesia periode 1920—2000 merepresentasikan ideologi gender yang berkembang saat itu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan  gambaran tokoh perempuan dalam novel-novel Indonesia periode 1920—2000 sebagai akibat adanya ideologi gender. Untuk mendeskripsikan hal tersebut, digunakan pendekatan kritik sastra feminis. Kritik sastra feminis ini berupaya membongkar ketimpangan gender antara laki-laki dan perempuan, sehingga mengakibatkan diskriminasi dan kekerasan pada perempuan yang terdapat dalam karya sastra. Ketimpangan gender yang terjadi disebabkan oleh dikotomi peran perempuan. Pada periode sebelum kemerdekaan, peran perempuan dibatasi pada sektor domestik, sedangkan sektor publik mulai didiami perempuan sesudah kemerdekaan. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah sebelas novel Indonesia yang diterbitkan pada periode 1920—2000. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh perempuan yang digambarkan dalam novel-novel periode 1920—2000 berkutat pada kategori sektor domestik dan publik. Akan tetapi, kedua sektor yang didiami tokoh-tokoh perempuan mengalami perkembangan pesat. Eksistensi perempuan pada ranah pubik semakin kuat seiring dengan perubahan zaman. Sebaliknya, domestifikasi posisi dan peran perempuan semakin berkurang karena mereka mengaktualisasikan diri dalam masyarakat, bidang ekonomi dan pendidikan, serta menentukan pilihan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis diskriminasi yang dialami perempuan sebagai akibat adanya praktik ideologi familialisme di tengah masyarakat yang diceritakan dalam novel-novel Indonesia. Ideologi familialisme adalah ideologi yang menempatkan perempuan hanyalah sebagai istri dan ibu yang baik. Keberadaan ideologi ini menjadikan perempuan semakin terpinggir karena mengharuskan perempuan tunduk berada dalam rumah. Oleh karena itu, muncul gerakan feminisme yang berusaha melepaskan berbagai kontrol laki-laki dan menuntut kesetaraan gender. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah sebelas novel Indonesia yang terbit pada tahun 1920—2000. Metode dan teknik analisis yang digunakan, yaitu deskriptif kualitatif sehingga hasil penelitian adalah penjelasan berupa kata-kata bukan angka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ideologi familialisme yang menjadi penyebab terpinggirkannya perempuan dalam novel-novel Indonesia periode 1920—2000-an, meliputi perjodohan, poligami, kepatuhan mutlak istri pada suami, dan bergantung pada laki-laki.This study aims to analyze the discrimination experienced by women as a result of the practice of familial ideology in society told in Indonesian novels. The ideology of familialism is an ideology that places women only as good wives and mothers. The existence of this ideology makes women even more marginalized because it requires women to being in the house. Therefore, a feminist movement emerged, trying to release male controls and the demand of gender equality. The data sources of this research are eleven Indonesian novels published in 1920-2000. The method and analysis technique used are descriptive qualitative so that the results of the research are explanations in the form of words and not numbers. The results showed that the ideology of familialism become the cause of the marginalization of women in Indonesian novels for the period 1920-2000, including matchmaking, polygamy, absolute compliance of wives to husbands, and dependence on men.

Abstract

Kedudukan bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa nasional dan bahasa negara membawa konsekuensi logis. Setiap penggunanya harus mampu menggunakan secara cermat dan tepat. Kecermatan menuangkan gagasan tersebut hanya dapat dilakukan kalau struktur bahasa (termasuk kaidah pembentukan istilah) sudah canggih dan mantap. Hal ini hanya dapat dilakukan melalui penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar (standar atau baku). Penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar menjadi tuntutan bagi masyarakat akademik, seperti dosen, tenaga kependidikan, dan mahasiswa. Hal ini karena mereka menjadi tolok ukur keberhasilan pemakaian bahasa standar atau baku. Akan tetapi, berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan banyak kesalahan  dalam karya ilmiah dosen dan mahasiswa IAIN Tulungagung, mulai dari kesalahan ejaan, kesalahan kata, dan kesalahan kalimat. Kesalahan ejaan merupakan kesalahan paling dominan dengan persentase 48%. Selanjutnya, diikuti kesalahan kalimat dengan persentase 29% dan yang terakhir kesalahan kata dengan persentase 23%. Kesalahan ejaan ini mendominasi disebabkan oleh minimnya pengajaran ejaan apalagi tidak adanya pembahasan khusus materi tersebut. Akibatnya, penguasaan kompetensi ini juga kurang. Padahal untuk mewujudkan bahasa Indonesia yang bermartabat dibutuhkan perilaku berbahasa untuk menguasai kaidah bahasa sebaik mungkin. Kesalahan berbahasa yang terjadi di masyarakat akademik IAIN Tulungagung sebagai akibat sikap bahasa yang belum tumbuh. Oleh karena itu, pembinaan terus menerus harus dilakukan agar bahasa Indonesia bisa bermartabat di negeri sendiri khususnya di kalangan intelektual IAIN Tulungagung.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the management of optimizing services to the community at nonformal education institutions and provide a role model for managers of community learning centers. This research was conducted at Tunas Pratama Community Learning Center in Blitar with a descriptive qualitative method using a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results showed that the management of optimizing services to the community at nonformal education institution at Tunas Pratama Community Learning Center includes four strategies; 1) systematic planning with various activities that promote courage in making decisions; 2) organizing by division of labor based on the responsibilities of each section wrapped in a family culture and organizational climate; 3) implementation of programs with various initiatives that are adaptive to policies, technological advances, integrated psychology, and mental health education and establish many relationships; 4) program supervision is carried out massively, both directly and indirectly, which requires the direct involvement of a leader.

Abstract

Aim of this research is to explore validity and students’ response to learning media with powtoon on electrolyte and non-electrolyte topic. Research method is 4D development with define, design, develop dan disseminate process. Nevertheless, this research only toward develop step because of time limiting. This research uses the instruments of interview and content and media validity. Data analysis shows analyze qualitative data from interview result and quantitative data form students’ response questionnaire by calculate this average. Content validity result shows average of 90% on well category. Media validity result shows average of 95,7% on well category too. Students’ response on small scale test shows average of 82,08% on well category. Based on these results, learning media valid to be used as learning media also could be use to support development of similar media on another research.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan memiliki substansi untuk menganalisis aspek feminisme yang terdapat dalam suatu karya sastra, yakni berupa kasus segregasi gender atau yang lebih akrab dikenal sebagai kasus diskriminasi. Kasus tersebut dialami yang dihadapi oleh seorang tokoh perempuan dalam cerpen "Perempuan dan Sebilah Pisau" karya Tati Y Adiwinata. Penelitian ini berorientasi pada teori feminisme. Teori feminisme merupakan teori yang mengkaji tentang kesetaraan gender feminis dengan laki-laki. Feminisme berfokus pada pemenuhan hak-kak kaum feminis serta menyelaraskan kedudukan kaum feminis sebagai bentuk penolakan terhadap perbedaan harkat dengan kaum laki-laki. Aspek yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah bentuk-bentuk ketidakadilan yang dialami oleh tokoh perempuan dalam cerpen tersebut, di mana perbuat tersebut merupakan contoh dari diskriminasi gender. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menganalisis isi cerpen secara keseluruhan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah setiap kalimat dalam cerpen "Perempuan dan Sebilah Pisau" yang dimuat dalam surat kabar Republika, pada tanggal 13 Maret 2022
