Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of cow dung fertilizer and banana peel liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of cherry tomatoes. This research used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors with 12 treatment combinations and 3 replications so that 36 plots were needed in the study. The first factor examined was the treatment of cow dung fertilizer with the symbol "K" consisting of K0= kontrol, K1 = cow dung + topsoil (1;2), K2 = cow dung + topsoil (1;1), K3 = cow dung + topsoil (2;1). Factor II treatment of applying liquid organic banana peel fertilizer with the symbol P consists of P0 = 0 ml/liter of water/plot, P1 = 10 ml/liter of water/plot, P2 = 20 ml/liter of water/plot. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of productive branches, number of fruit per sample, weight of fruit per sample (g) and fruit diameter (mm). The results of the study showed that the application of cow dung fertilizer showed significantly different effects on the parameters of plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of productive branches, number of fruit per sample, weight of fruit per sample (g) and fruit diameter (mm), while organic fertilizer banana peel liquid and the second interaction showed no significant influence on all observed parameters, namely plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of productive branches, number of sampled fruit, sampled fruit weight (g) and fruit diameter (mm).
