Abstract

ABSTRACT:This research is entitled "The Effectiveness of Group Guidance with a Reality Approach in Improving Self-Adjustment in Students at the Darun Najah Islamic Boarding School". The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of group guidance using a reality approach in improving student adjustment. This research uses a quantitative approach and this type of research is an experiment with a pre-experimental design. Population of 100 people. From the purposive sampling technique used, a sample of 8 students was obtained. Data collection techniques use documentation, questionnaires and the number of question items is 52 questions from each instrument. After the validation test, the r table is smaller than the calculated r, so the statement is valid. The data normality test used is the Kolmogrov-Smirnov technique, so the pretest and posttest results are normally distributed and the hypothesis test used is the t test with the paired sample test technique. From the t test results there are differences before group guidance was carried out using a reality approach and after a reality approach was carried out. The research results can be seen from the pretest and posttest results where the pretest results are 995 and the posttest results are 1.120 so it can be concluded that the pretest and posttest results increased by a difference of 125 points so group guidance with a reality approach is effective for increasing self-adjustment.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Application of Mutual Storytelling Techniques to Overcome Sibling Rivalry in Client "A" at the Nurul Falah Pakjo Mosque Landfill Palembang". This research aims to find out how the sibling rivalry condition experienced by client "A" is described, to find out how the mutual storytelling technique is applied in overcoming sibling rivalry in client "A" at the Nurul Falah Pakjo Mosque Landfill Palembang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subject of the study is client "A". The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are pattern matching, explanatory and time series analysis. The results of this study are that there is a description of the condition experienced by client "A" seen based on his characteristics such as aggressive behavior (resentment, anger, hatred), spirit of competition or not like to give in to siblings, and the appearance of feelings of envy or jealousy.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Effectiveness of Classical Guidance Through Video Podcasts in Increasing Student Achievement Motivation." Motivation for achievement that occurs in students of the Islamic Counseling Guidance study program class of 2023 actually still has relatively low self-motivation in achieving, which can be seen from each observation. conducted by researchers on each client. The aim of this research is to find out how before and after being given video podcasts, classical guidance is proven to be effective in increasing student motivation. This research method uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research type and a one group pretest - posttest design. From a total population of 80 students, 14 samples were taken. The sample technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires and documentation. With a total of 30 questions, the validity test of rcount > rtable has been carried out with rcount values ​​of 0.256 – 0.566 and rtable 0.2. The data analysis technique uses the T test. The results of the research show that the level of student achievement motivation was initially M(SD) = 76.1 (2.9) to M(SD) = 88.1(1.4). With a T test result of 14.538. Greater than the t table (5%) with a t table result of 1.7709. Therefore, classical guidance through video podcasts is effective in increasing student achievement motivation.
