Abstract

This community service addresses the issue of local resource optimization and women's empowerment through diversification of sago starch processed products in Huko-Huko Village, Pomala District, Kolaka Regency. The objective is to enhance women's knowledge and skills in processing sago into high economic value products as an effort to strengthen food security and local economy. The implemented methods include participatory observation, socialization of sago potential, technical training on sago cracker production with modified methods, and mentoring and evaluation of production results. The outcomes demonstrate significant improvement in community understanding of the economic potential of sago, enhancement of technical skills in processing sago derivative products, and transformation of perceptions towards productive economic potential based on local commodities. This program contributes to the diversification of community income sources and strengthening of food security based on local commodities that are adaptive to local socio-ecological conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the accountability of village fund usage in physical development in Lamokato Village. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type, which aims to analyze or describe the accountability of village fund usage in physical development. The research location is in Lamokato Village, Kolaka District, Kolaka Regency. Data collection was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews with village officials and related parties. The allocation of village funds during the research period showed an increase and policy adjustment, namely IDR 795,614,000 in 2023, IDR 809,541,800 in 2024, and IDR 808,447,000 in 2025, which after the efficiency policy became IDR 775,198,000, with an additional budget of IDR 100,000,000 specifically allocated for drainage construction through the support of Bappeda. The results of the study show that legal accountability and honesty have been well implemented through compliance with administrative procedures, the preparation of comprehensive accountability reports, and the absence of legal violations. Managerial accountability is also functioning well, as evidenced by the preparation of structured planning documents such as the RKA and RAB, as well as the existence of a tiered monitoring mechanism. Program accountability shows that physical development has been tailored to community needs through development planning deliberations, although its effectiveness has not been felt evenly. Policy and financial accountability have basically been implemented in accordance with regulations, but still face obstacles in the form of budget constraints, low participation by some residents, and uneven transparency of information to the community. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen community participation, public communication, and information disclosure in order to achieve more comprehensive accountability

Abstract

The fundamental problem of this research background is the low participation and concern of parents towards nutritious food, as well as suboptimal service from the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) which often arrives late, thus reducing public trust and enthusiasm. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the PMT program in improving the nutritional status of toddlers and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore the phenomenon studied in depth. This research model is focused on descriptive analysis to provide a systematic overview of the facts found. Primary data was obtained through data collection techniques in the form of interviews, direct field observations to see the real conditions at the research location, and relevant documentation studies. The collected data were then analyzed using qualitative data analysis methods which include data reduction stages, narrative data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the PMT program at the Posyandu Ranoteta Village has not been running effectively. Based on the effectiveness of the program consists of five indicators, namely: program success, target success, satisfaction with the program, input and output levels, achievement of overall objectives. The five indicators have not been effective due to limited implementation, with activities occurring only once a month, a lack of variety in the PMT menu, and a lack of community participation in integrated health post (Posyandu) program activities. This is compounded by a lack of parental awareness of the importance of a nutritious PMT menu for improving toddler nutrition. Keywords: Program Effectiveness, PMT, Toddler Nutritional Status, Posyandu, Community Participation.
