Abstract

Strengthening is needed to restore structural capacity such as installing GFRP. This research aims to analyze the flexural strength of reinforced concrete beams using the Abaqus 2017 finite element program, experimental and theoretical results, in the form of maximum load, maximum moment and crack patterns. The research object uses secondary data from experiments by Djamaluddin (2011) in the form of five beam variants, namely normal beams without GFRP, beams with 1 layer of GFRP along the span, beams with 1 layer of GFRP along the span plus 2 layers in the middle of the span, beams with 3 layers of GFRP along the span, and 3 layers of GFRP beams along the span plus 2 layers in the middle of the span. Researchers modeled the five beam variants in the Abaqus program and carried out theoretical calculations. Analysis of the three methods showed that the more layers of GFRP installed, the greater the maximum load and maximum moment. There are differences in the values of the three methods which are possible because the bonding (gluing) is less than perfect in installing the GFRP, and the distribution of the elements (meshing) of the model in Abaqus is less dense so that the stress distribution is less even. Apart from that, it was also seen that there was no difference in the crack pattern between the experiment and Abaqus, namely that the crack pattern in all models started from the middle of the span and then spread along the span.

Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini membahas tentang program sosialisasi dan pelatihan konstruksi bangunan pada tanah kritis yang ditujukan kepada tukang bangunan di Kelurahan Sadeng. Bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan tukang dalam mitigasi bencana, konstruksi bangunan, dan penggunaan teknologi konstruksi seperti AutoCAD. Program ini menggunakan tiga metode pembelajaran, yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab, dan praktik langsung. Hasil program yang dicapai adalah 25 tukang bangunan telah mengikuti program sosialisasi mitigasi bencana dan konstruksi, serta pelatihan pembacaan gambar dan program AutoCAD. Kesimpulannya, program ini sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan mengingat masih kurangnya pemahaman tentang tanah kritis dan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya konstruksi yang aman. Diharapkan program ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan tukang dalam mitigasi bencana, konstruksi bangunan, serta penggunaan teknologi konstruksi seperti AutoCAD, sehingga dapat membangun konstruksi yang lebih aman dan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: konstruksi bangunan; tanah kritis; konstruksi pondasi; AutoCAD. AbstractThis article discusses a program on socialization and training for building construction on critical land, aimed at construction workers in Sadeng Village. The program aims to improve the understanding and skills of construction workers in disaster mitigation, building construction, and the use of construction technology such as AutoCAD. The program utilizes three learning methods: lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and hands-on practice. The results show that 25 construction workers have participated in the socialization program for disaster mitigation and construction, as well as training in reading blueprints and AutoCAD software. In conclusion, this program is crucial to implement considering the lack of understanding about critical land and public awareness of the importance of safe construction. It is hoped that this program can enhance the understanding and skills of construction workers in disaster mitigation, building construction, and the use of construction technology such as AutoCAD, leading to safer and more sustainable construction. Keywords: : building construction; critical soil; foundation construction; AutoCAD.
