Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the production of flat sugar and water sugar in MSMEs owned by Mrs. Yane Pandie in Oebelo Dalam using the linear programming (LP) method and the simplex method. Data collected through interviews, observations, and literature studies were processed using the POM-QM application to determine the optimal production volume, maximize profits, and minimize production costs. The main constraints faced are the limited raw materials such as sap and firewood and the need for packaging. The optimization results show that to achieve maximum profit, the company must produce flat sugar 2 times per cycle without producing water sugar. Constraint analysis shows that increasing the availability of sap can increase profitability. This method allows producers to plan resource allocation efficiently, respond effectively to market demand, and increase competitiveness in the industry

Abstract

This research delves into how the Hungarian Algorithm's utilized to streamline workforce allocation, for activities in Tuatuka Village located in Kupang Regency in East Nusa Tenggara region of Indonesia. The primary obstacles encountered include shortage of labor and differences, in skill levels that affect productivity levels significantly. By employing the Hungarian Algorithm a mathematical method is utilized to reduce costs and time associated with assigning tasks effectively by matching workers to duties based on their skills and capabilities. This study includes gathering data by observing and conducting interviews that are later examined using POM QM, for Windows V5 software and manual computations. The results indicate that implementing this method can cut down total project expenses to 35 work hours through task allocation strategies. The adoption of the Hungarian Algorithm has been successful in improving workforce efficiency in agriculture areas leading to output. Decreased resource wastage. Therefore this study aids, in streamlining operations in the industry especially when it comes to managing resources in rural settings.

Abstract

Women’s entrepreneurship has gained recognition as a critical factor in promoting inclusive economic development, particularly in emerging economies such as Indonesia. This study presents a bibliometric analysis of scholarly publications on women’s entrepreneurship, focusing on trends, thematic structures, and collaboration networks from 2000 to 2025. Using data retrieved from the Scopus database and analyzed through VOSviewer, the study maps co-authorship patterns, co-citation networks, keyword co-occurrence clusters, and temporal evolution of research themes. The findings highlight dominant scholars, countries, and themes such as gender roles, empowerment, entrepreneurial intention, and sustainability. The overlay and density visualizations indicate a growing shift toward system-level and empowerment-related topics in recent years. However, the analysis also reveals underrepresentation of Indonesian research in global discourse. The study concludes by recommending greater international collaboration, diverse methodologies, and deeper contextual engagement to enrich the field and inform effective policy interventions.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of core competencies in improving operational efficiency within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. MSMEs contribute significantly to the national economy but often face challenges in resource limitations, productivity, and competitiveness. Core competencies, defined as unique combinations of skills, knowledge, and organizational capabilities, are considered strategic enablers of efficiency and sustainability. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 150 MSME owners and managers through a structured questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25, employing descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, correlation, and regression analysis. The findings show that core competencies have a significant positive effect on operational efficiency, with a correlation coefficient of 0.652 and an R² value of 0.425, indicating that 42.5% of operational efficiency variance can be explained by competencies. The results highlight the importance of innovation capability, resource management, and market responsiveness in driving efficiency. This study contributes to the Resource-Based View (RBV) literature in the context of MSMEs and provides practical implications for managers and policymakers to strengthen MSME competitiveness through competency development.
