Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini difokuskan pada Industri Kecil Menengah penghasil makanan olahan yang berasal dari pulau Bawean dan Bantul dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi lokal serta meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan Training Need Analysis melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD), Pelatihan tentang produksi makanan dan marketing chain yang diikuti oleh 23 Industri Kecil Menengah, pendampingan serta diakhiri dengan expose hasil pendampingan. Beberapa pelatihan yang diberikan kepada para Industri Kecil Menengah berdasarkan pada Training Need Analysis adalah pelatihan tentang Produksi makanan (perencanaan produksi, quality control, Packaging dan pengurusan ijin usaha). Pendampingan juga menunjukkan adanya perbaikan dari beberapa aspek, diantaranya Desain kemasan, cara pengemasan dan strategi pemasaran.

Abstract

As the demand for halal food becomes raising and the supply of halal food is limited, it is required a strategy to optimize the halal food supply chain. The optimization of halal food supply chain can support its sustainability. Therefore, study about halal food supply chain optimization is required. This paper try to develop a mathematical model, entitled as Balance Halal Supply Chain (BHSC) model. This model propose a distribution strategy for halal food supply chain from limited halal slaughterhouses to several halal markets so as the total cost of distribution becomes minimize. It is assumed that all halal market demands must be fulfilled, so the lack ness cost becomes zero. The model try to fulfill all the halal market demands and minimize the oversupply and transportation costs. BHSC is modeled as MILP. Numerical experiment is performed to validate the model and it is solved by CPLEX Solver Version 12.6.3. Based on the experiment result, it is shown that the model can be used by halal supply chain decision maker as the decision making tool to design the best strategy for distributing the limited number of halal meat to many halal markets for its supply chain sustainability. The BHSC model can minimize the total cost of distribution that consists of oversupply and transportation costs, in the case of all halal market demands must be fulfilled. In conclusion, the proposed model becomes an alternative method to support the halal food supply chain sustainability.

Abstract

Penjadwalan adalah suatu proses pengalokasian sumber daya dan mesin untuk menentukan urutan pekerjaan dengan batasan-batasan tertentu. Penjadwalan produksi yang diterapkan di CV. Bestone Indonesia selama ini hanya menggunakan metode intuitif. Tujuan penelitian ini mencari kombinasi urutan pengerjaan produk yang memiliki makespan paling minimal. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, metode Ignall-Scharge menghasilkan urutan job 3-1-4-2 dan 3-4-1-2 dengan nilai makespan 389052.25 detik. Sedangkan metode Algoritma Nawaz Enscore Ham (NEH) menghasilkan urutan job 3-1-4-2 dengan nilai makespan 389052.25 detik. Kedua metode tersebut menghasilkan nilai makespan yang sama. Pada nilai makespan penjadwalan yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan  menghasilkan 389116.52 detik, selisih 64.27 detik lebih lama. Maka dari itu kedua metode tersebut dapat diterapkan pada penjadwalan produksi di perusahaan CV. Bestone Indonesia.

Abstract

Maintenance system at UMKM ED Aluminum Yogyakarta is using preventive and corrective maintenance program, but the implementation of this program still have many problems. The problem occurs because there is no maintenance system program and the company doesn’t have Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) in maintenance to overcome machine failures resulted in the increase of the downtime value. To cope the problems,  in this paper we used application of SOP and appropriate task maintenance selection using Maintenance Value Stream Map (MVSM) method supported by Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Beside task selected among all products that have been produced, there is one machine that gives the biggest profit to the company. The product is feet infusion. Kondia milling machine is one of machines produces the feet infusion that has the longest downtime which was 17,75 hour during January 2016 until October 2016. RCM consist of Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Pareto diagram, decision worksheet RCM, whereas the MVSM describes the maintenance activity. Based on Pareto analysis, the critical components on the Kondia milling machine were the magnetic contactor, relay, fuse, cutter, dynamo and bearing. The result of RCM decision worksheet proposed the appropriate action for the critical components cares. The Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) for the maintenance system on the operation of Kondia milling machine are suggested to the company for getting more significant outcome.

Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, the most widely used equipment is equipment that uses electricity. Electricity cost is one of the highest operational production costs after labor cost. So, it is very important to save and optimize the use of electrical equipment. One of the manufacturing industries is Taru Martani, Ltd. This research aims to minimize the energy cost by proposing three hybrid algorithms, namely Palmer-NEH, Gupta-NEH, and Dannenbring-NEH methods. Some scheduling evaluation is done using the Efficiency Index (EI) and Relative Error (RE) parameters. It is concluded that the Palmer-NEH and Gupta-NEH methods are the best methods with the lowest energy cost compared with company's actual method and the Dannenbring-NEH method. Based on the Palmer-NEH and Gupta-NEH methods, both methods can save the makespan up to 399.13 minutes or 6.65 hours compared with the company's actual method. With these methods, the company is also able to save the production cost by Rp. 818,043.00.

Abstract

In this modern era, the use of electric vehicles is not a new thing. The grand strategy of energy national (GSEN) has fourteen strategic programs to be implemented, one of them is increasing the use of battery- electric vehicles motorized, in order to reduce the imports of fuel oil (BBM) and LPG as well as equitable electrification in Indonesia. This program needs to support by cooperation and role contribution from participants (stakeholders). This study was conducted to determine the role of stakeholders to increasing the use of electric motors in Indonesia using a triple helix methode. The data collection was carried out through interviews and documentation studies. The analyze data was use miles and hubberman. The results showed that based on the triple helix analysis, there were 3 stakeholders involved to increasing the use of electric motors in Indonesia. There were universities, industry and government. The universities have a role in conducting research and development for electric motor products, this can be done through final project research or providing research grants the development electric motors topic. The industry has a role in producing electric motors, for example Gesit Companies which produces electric motors, and also raw materials industry and spare part industry as well as component of electric motors. The government has a role in regulations through policies of equitable electrification motor vehicles in Indonesia. One of them is from the Minister of Transportation Regulation (Permenhub) Number 65 of 2020 concerning the conversion of fuel motorcycles into battery-electric motorcycles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penjadwalan flow shop n job m mesin dengan pendekatan metode First Come First Served (FCFS), Earliest Due Date (EDD) dan Algoritma Heuristik Pour. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan perbandingan performansi antara ketiga metode tersebut untuk meminimalkan makespan. Dalam penelitian ini data waktu proses dan due date yang digunakan merupakan data random yang dibangkitkan dengan software Matlab 7.1. Kombinasi jumlah job dan mesin yaitu 4 job dan 2 mesin. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap. Tahap pertama yaitu melakukan perhitungan menggunakan metode enumerasi. Tahap kedua yaitu melakukan perhitungan dengan metode FCFS, EDD dan Pour. Parameter performansi yang digunakan yaitu makespan rata-rata, Efficiency Index (EI), Relative Error (RE), run time, dan nilai deviasi makespan rata-rata. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode terbaik untuk penjadwalan flow shop n job m mesin dalam meminimalkan makespan adalah Algoritma Heuristik Pour karena memiliki nilai makespan rata-rata terkecil yaitu 30,70 time unit, nilai EI < 1, nilai RE lebih dari 5% dan memiliki nilai deviasi yang terkecil yaitu 0,35 time unit. Meskipun metode Algoritma Heuristik Pour memiliki nilai run time yang paling lama akan tetapi nilai run time yang diperoleh masih dapat ditoleransi yaitu sebesar 2.741351 detik.
