Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Penerapan praktik korespondensi di era new normal, (2) hambatan pelaksanaan praktik korespondensi, (3) upaya mengatasi hambatan pelaksanaan praktik korespondensi program OTKP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus.  Sumber data penelitian dari informan (Siswa, Guru Korespondensi, Ketua Program OTKP), peristiwa (implementasi praktik korespondensi pada masa new normal pandemi), dan dokumen (profil sekolah, materi korespondensi). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan snowball dan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data, dan metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran praktik korespondensi pada masa new normal di SMK Batik 2 Surakarta telah terlaksana dengan perencanaan dan persiapan sebelum pelaksanaan praktik dimulai, namun penerapan praktiknya belum terlaksana. dilaksanakan secara optimal. 2) Hambatan pembelajaran: a) Penyampaian materi belum maksimal karena keterbatasan sarana prasarana pembelajaran, b) memerlukan waktu untuk menyesuaikan lingkungan belajar, c) respon siswa yang pasif, d) kurangnya waktu pembelajaran praktik, e) penjadwalan kelas praktik belum maksimal. 3) Upaya untuk mengatasinya: a) Pengulangan materi, b) Menggunakan media pembelajaran yang mendukung, c) Penggunaan laboratorium perkantoran dioptimalkan, d) pendekatan aktif pada siswa, e) Menetapkan jadwal latihan.Kata kunci: analisis kasus; pembelajaran keterampilan; periode baruAbstract: The research aims to determine (1) the Implementation of correspondence practice in a new normal era, (2) obstacles to the implementation of correspondence practice, (3) efforts to overcome obstacles to the implementation of correspondence practice of the OTKP program. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative case study approach.  Sources of research data from informants (Students, Correspondence Teachers, Heads of OTKP Programs), events (implementation of correspondence practices during the new normal period of the pandemic), and documents (school profiles, correspondence materials). The sampling technique uses snowball and purposive sampling. Data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and documents. Test the validity of the data using data triangulation, and methods. Data analysis techniques using Miles & Huberman interactive models. The results of the study showed: 1) The implementation of correspondence practice learning during the new normal period at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta has been carried out by planning and preparing before the implementation of the practice begins, but the application of the practice has not been implemented optimally. 2) Learning barriers: a) Submission of material has not been maximized due to limited learning infrastructure, b) requires time to adjust the learning environment, c) passive student response, d) lack of practical learning time, e) scheduling of practical classes have not been maximized. 3) Efforts to overcome: a)Repeating the material, b) Using supportive learning media, c) The use of office labs is optimized, d) an active approach in students, e) Setting practice schedules.Keywords: case studies; correspondence; new normal; practical learning
