Abstract

Penghapalan Al-Qur'an menjadi tradisi dalam budaya Islam, mengamalkan ajaran agama, dan menghormati kata-kata Tuhan. Peran guru agama Islam dalam menanamkan minat menghapal Al-Qur'an pada siswa di Sekolah Satit Phatnawitya, Thailand, sangat signifikan. Pelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melaluio bservasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data mengikuti model Miles and Huberman, termasuk pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peran penting guru agama Islam dalam mengembangkan minat menghapal Al-Qur'an pada siswa di Sekolah Satit Phatnawitya, Thailand. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Satit Phatnawitya School adalah sekolah berbasis Islam yang menerapkan program full day. Guru agama Islam berperan sebagai pembimbing dan motivator siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Al-Qur'an. Mereka memberikan motivasi, membimbing, dan mengatasi kesalahan siswa dalam penghapalan Al-Qur'an. Program unggulan sekolah, seperti pembiasaan sholat dhuha, tilawah Al-Qur'an, dan pembinaan kepribadian, juga mendukung minat siswa.

Abstract

The use of information technology in learning can certainly be done with various educational programs. As is the case in learning Islamic Religious Education, where in this case the role of media technology is also needed to get new learning and insights for students. However, this also needs to be juxtaposed with the participation of teachers or lecturers who assist students in using information technology media as an effective learning medium. Especially with the increasing ease of obtaining information and communicating which will have an impact on religious differences that can trigger differences in understanding for every world community. Thus, the role of teachers or lecturers has an important role in the use of information technology for learning activities. Where the abilities and expertise of a teacher or lecturer need to be optimized in the use of information technology as an effective learning medium for students. In this regard, the author would like to elaborate a discussion related to the optimal use of information technology in Islamic Religious Education learning activities through the approach of literature study research methods and descriptive methods. With research that discusses this matter, it is hoped that it can help and make it easier for teachers to direct students in achieving learning goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interpretation of religious moderation among Muhammadiyah members in Air Joman Subdistrict, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra. Religious moderation is understood as a balanced attitude that avoids extremism and intolerance while promoting harmonious religious practices. Muhammadiyah, as one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia, plays a strategic role in instilling moderate values through education, preaching, and charitable activities. However, the internalization of these values encounters challenges, particularly among the younger generation, who are increasingly influenced by social, cultural, and technological dynamics. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consist of Muhammadiyah leaders, active members—including youth—and community members involved in Muhammadiyah activities. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, supported by triangulation to ensure data validity. The findings are expected to provide insights into Muhammadiyah members’ perceptions of religious moderation, the factors shaping these interpretations, and their relevance in fostering social harmony. Ultimately, this study is expected to contribute to strengthening religious moderation within Islamic organizations and to serve as a reference for developing educational programs and policies aimed at cultivating moderate values, particularly among younger generations.
