Abstract

Abstract

The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into judicial processes has created new challenges for Indonesia’s legal system, particularly in defining accountability and legal liability for AI-assisted decisions. This study aims to analyze how AI technologies can be harmonized with Indonesia’s legal framework while upholding judicial independence, transparency, and fairness. Using a normative legal research method, the study examines statutory provisions, doctrinal principles, and comparative practices from the European Union and the United States. The analysis reveals that current Indonesian lawssuch as Law No. 48 of 2009 on Judicial Power and Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions do not yet regulate liability for AI-generated outcomes. Consequently, AI cannot be recognized as a legal subject, and responsibility remains with developers, operators, or judicial institutions. The study concludes that Indonesia must establish a specific legal framework defining human oversight, AI accountability, and ethical governance to ensure that technological innovation aligns with constitutional principles of justice and human rights. These findings contribute to the development of a transparent and responsible AI governance model within Indonesia’s judiciary.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the application of Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) with a 50% perforated pattern as a secondary skin on the Plenary Building of DPRD Pemalang Regency to enhance thermal performance and energy efficiency in a tropical climate. The research aims to evaluate the thermal performance of buildings with and without the secondary skin, analyze temperature changes, and identify factors affecting its effectiveness. Field surveys, thermal sensor measurements, and statistical analysis were employed to collect and evaluate data. Results indicate that the secondary skin reduces indoor temperatures by 4%-5%, with further reductions of 16% for brick wall elements and 13% for 5 mm clear glass elements. The findings suggest that material selection and secondary skin design significantly influence thermal comfort, offering a viable solution for office buildings in tropical regions like Pemalang Regency. Keyword: Aluminum Composite Panel, Secondary Skin, Thermal Performance Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) dengan pola berlubang 50% sebagai secondary skin pada Gedung Paripurna DPRD Kabupaten Pemalang untuk meningkatkan kinerja termal dan efisiensi energi di iklim tropis. Penelitian bertujuan mengevaluasi kinerja termal bangunan dengan dan tanpa secondary skin, menganalisis perubahan suhu, serta mengidentifikasi faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitasnya. Survei lapangan, pengukuran sensor termal, dan analisis statistik digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan mengevaluasi data. Hasil menunjukkan secondary skin menurunkan suhu dalam ruangan sebesar 4%-5%, dengan penurunan tambahan 16% untuk elemen dinding bata dan 13% untuk kaca clear 5 mm. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan material dan desain secondary skin sangat memengaruhi kenyamanan termal, menawarkan solusi untuk bangunan perkantoran di wilayah tropis seperti Pemalang.
