Abstract

Illegal Gold Mining (PETI) is activity of gold mining by gold miners have not license. The negative impacts PETI is mercury contamination. The efforts minimize mercury contamination by phytoremediation. This research aimed to discover local plants have potential reducing mercury (Hg) contamination. This research used purposive sampling technique and conducted in Monti Village, Sarolangun, Jambi. Inventory plants obtained 14 species specifically, Macaranga sp., Paspalum sp., Trema tomentosa, Imperata cylndrica, Lophatherum sp., Eleusine sp., Molineria sp., Lycopodium sp., Gleichenia linearis, Ipomea sp., Scleria sp., Eleocharis interstincta, Melastoma sp., and Phragmites sp. 14 plants, three plants dominated particularly, Phragmites sp. (37.35%), Melastoma sp. (30.64%), and Eleocharis interstincta (25.41%). Phragmites sp. have BAC values ​​(0.381), BCF (0.606), TF (0.628), Melastoma sp. have BAC values ​​(0.170), BCF (0.333), TF (0.511), and Eleocharis interstincta have BAC values ​​(0.245), BCF (0.441), TF (0.555). The calculation result BAC, BCF and TF obtained Phragmites sp. have hight values.

Abstract

Keandalan produksi sistem kelistrikan merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam pengoperasian sistem kelistrikan, karena selama pengoperasian generator berjangka waktu tidak selalu dapat bekerja sesuai dengan jadwal yang diberikan, banyak kendala yang dihadapi pabrik. dapat menyebabkan. baik karena gangguan tidak bekerja dengan baik di luar atau di dalam sistem genset. Nilai probabilitas dari sistem kelistrikan memberi kita seberapa baik operasi berkelanjutan dari sistem pembangkit. Oleh karena itu nilai keandalan sistem listrik harus dijaga. Pada artikel ini perhitungan untuk menentukan tingkat keandalan sistem pembangkit listrik PLTU Embalut menggunakan perhitungan indeks keandalan lolp dan lole. Analisis dibuat berdasarkan data tahun 2019 dengan menggunakan reliabilitas LOLE (Loss of Load Expectation). Dalam mencari indeks keandalan lolp dan lole suatu sistem pembangkitan, mengacu pada standar PT PLN (Persero) pada periode RUPTL PLN 2018-2027 adalah 1 hari /tahun.

Abstract

Desa Bonto Tengnga, yang terletak di Kecamatan Sinjai Borong, Kabupaten Sinjai, memiliki potensi besar dalam pertanian, terutama dalam produksi tanaman cengkeh. Namun, penggunaan pestisida kimia dalam pertanian telah menimbulkan masalah lingkungan dan kesehatan yang serius. Oleh karena itu, program kerja ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mempromosikan penggunaan pestisida nabati dari daun cengkeh sebagai alternatif yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Metode pelatihan pembuatan pestisida nabati dilakukan langsung kepada petani di Desa Bonto Tengnga. Program ini mencakup tahapan persiapan, pelatihan, dan pemaparan materi tentang pertanian organik dan berkelanjutan. Hasilnya adalah adanya produk pestisida nabati dari daun cengkeh yang dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti pestisida kimia. Program ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya pertanian berkelanjutan, mengurangi penggunaan pestisida kimia yang berpotensi merusak lingkungan, serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesehatan masyarakat dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti kebutuhan mendesak akan integrasi ChatGPT dalam model blended learning di pendidikan teknik, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Menghadapi tantangan kurikulum modern, penerapan ChatGPT menjadi krusial dalam memberikan dampak signifikan pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran matematika serta menandai pergeseran penting dalam bidang teknologi pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana integrasi teknologi bahasa alami seperti ChatGPT dapat mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross-sectional dan melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui survei dan analisis data menggunakan metode statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa menggunakan ChatGPT untuk tujuan akademis, namun keandalan ChatGPT dalam melakukan perhitungan numerik masih menjadi perdebatan. Penelitian ini menyoroti kelebihan dan kekurangan ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran matematika, serta menekankan pentingnya menerapkan pemikiran komputasi serta berpikir kritis ketika menggunakan ChatGPT. Penelitian ini merujuk pada interaksi ChatGPT dengan mahasiswa serta dampaknya dalam pendidikan. Dengan demikian, artikel ini dapat memberikan gambaran tentang pemanfaatan ChatGPT dalam aspek pendidikan.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is an interaction that occurs individually. Every elderly person living in a nursing home will be served by a caregiver every day. Therefore, it is very necessary for a caregiver to use it because it has an important role in assisting the elderly. This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication between caregivers and the elderly at Maghrifatullah Nursing Home, Deleng Pokhkisen District, Southeast Aceh Regency. The research methods used are observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects in this study were the head of the caregiver service section, the implementation of services, and the elderly. The results of this study indicate that the approach and obstacles to interpersonal communication between caregivers and the elderly consist of two forms, namely verbal communication and nonverbal communication. The process of interpersonal communication between caregivers and the elderly has been well achieved, where the communication approach that occurs is as a medium for storytelling, facial expressions (smiles), giving advice, and making activities or spiritual guidance programs and sports. While the communication barriers between caregivers and the elderly are physical, education, language, and personality.

Abstract

A hybrid solar-wind power plant is a combination of two renewable energy sources, namely solar and wind energy, used to generate electricity. This study aims to analyze the performance and efficiency of a hybrid solar-wind power system as a practical learning tool. The research methodology involves collecting performance data from solar panels and wind turbines, as well as analyzing the integration of these two energy sources. The results show that the hybrid system can enhance the stability and continuity of electricity supply compared to using a single energy source. The implementation of a hybrid solar-wind power plant as a learning tool provides students with a deeper understanding of the application of renewable energy technologies and encourages innovation in the field of sustainable energy.

Abstract

Basic Electricity and Electronics is one of the subjects in VHS. This subject teaches theory and practice. Practical subject matter includes: how to measure the components of resistors, capacitors, coils, transistors and other components. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of practical trainers that have been developed for basic electricity and electronics subjects that have been developed and designed as practical learning media. The method used in this study is research and development (R n D), using the Hannafin and Peck model. The feasibility of practice trainers is based on the results of expert assessments, namely (1) assessment by material experts with a percentage gain of 92.50%, (2) assessment by media experts with an acquisition percentage of 82.60%, (3) assessment of student use obtains a percentage of 86.89 %. from the results of the assessment of the experts and students, it can be concluded that the basic electronics practice trainer is said to meet the requirements and is suitable for use as a learning medium for Basic Electricity and Electronics Class X for the Department of Audio-Video Engineering at Vocational High Schools. For the effectiveness of the trainers that have been developed it is done by comparing the results of the initial test with the results which result in an increase in learning outcomes by an average of 42.98%, so it is concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes. To test the effectiveness obtained tcount = 98.2 and ttable = 2.056, because tcount> ttable, it can be said that this trainer is effective for use in practice. A gain value of 0.8 is in the range > 0.7, this means an increase in basic electrical and electronics practical skills before and after using a basic electrical and electronics practicum trainer with a high category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the YouTube video-based ASSURE model in improving students' understanding of Fathu Makkah material at TPA Al-Fitrah. The method used is descriptive analytical with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the application of the ASSURE model consisting of six stages (Analyze Learners, State Objectives, Select Methods, Utilize Media, Require Learner Participation, and Evaluate and Revise) was successfully implemented systematically. The YouTube video media used contains Islamic history narratives with interesting visualizations and a duration of 7-10 minutes, proven to be able to increase students' interest in learning and understanding. The average pre-test score of 45% increased to 82% in the post-test. Observations and interviews showed an increase in participation and enthusiasm for learning. Technical constraints such as device and connection limitations are overcome through adaptive strategies. The conclusion of this study is that the YouTube video-based ASSURE model is effective as an alternative to learning Islamic history in the TPA environment, and is able to significantly improve understanding of the material.
