Abstract

This community service activity aims to share knowledge related to online learning methods which is currently needed during the pandemic by using online learning media as a support for improving educational services to teachers and students in the use of the Google Classroom application at the TPQ Al- Amin, which is located in Sawojajar inside Al-Furqan mosque. The method used is a practical and educative training method through lectures, simulations, and practices Google Classroom application which are carried out offline and online through Google meets, zoom, and Whatsapp class meetings. The training materials include classroom management, teachers, students, content, assignments, and grades. The result of this activity is the achievement of equal abilities in understanding and mastering the Google Classroom application for TPQ teachers and students as a supporter of online learning so that it can run effectively.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to participate in empowering mothers who are members of PKK activities in the neighborhood of RT 12 RW 09 Sawojajar. The objectives of this training are enhancing knowledge of Malangan batik, enhancing entrepreneurship intentions through ideas for PKK women to try business opportunities in the Malangan batik, Enhancing knowledge to increase family income, and Enhancing knowledge of family financial management. The method used is a practical and educative training method through lectures, simulations, questions or answers, and the practice of making Malangan batik, fostering entrepreneurship intentions, ways to increase family income, and managing family finances. The result of this training is to gain new insights into the process of making batik Malangan. The training participants are also interested in starting a Malangan batik business as a form of interest in entrepreneurship and an effort to increase family income, and the training participants can prepare household budgets properly and correctly, to realize household financial health.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk membantu memecahkan beberapa masalah terkait pengelolaan usaha dan keuangan Pemanfaatan tanaman TOGA yang mengandung bahan-bahan yang dapat dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat setempat dan produksi kemasan olahan tanaman TOGA merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang timbul dalam pengelolaan usaha. Pengelolaan keuangan masih kacau karena tidak adanya pencatatan keuangan yang baik, dan dibutuhkan modal untuk mengembangkan usaha budidaya. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah memberikan pelatihan dan praktik manajemen usaha dan pengelolaan keuangan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah menghasilkan nilai tambah bagi kelompok tani wanita kelurahan Sawojajar Malang.  Nilai tambah yang dihasilkan adalah sebagai berikut: Pemanfaatan bunga telang menjadi minuman kesehatan dengan rasa dan khasiat yang beragam, pengemasan minuman jamu dengan lebih bersih dan rapi, peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan meliputi pencatatan penerimaan dan pembayaran, perhitungan biaya produksi, harga pokok penjualan, dan penetapan harga jual produk minuman telang,

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the direct effect of variables gender, age, GPA to financial literacy. This research is a quantitative research and the sample consist of 142 students Accounting Department of State Polytechnic Malang. Data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS Version 21 program. The results showed gender, age, and GPA significant and positive effect on financial literacy.

Abstract

Many students still don’t understand how to invest or to access the capital markets and money markets, because students don’t have enough knowledge about it. Meanwhile, education about personal finance remains as a major challenge in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to analize of Personal Financial Knowledge, personal finance attitudes, personal finance behavior for 4th year and senior students Accounting Department at State Polytechnic Of Malang. The population in this study were students from Accounting Department at State Polytechnic Of Malang, for 4th year and senior students. Data in the form are primary data and sample were spread as much as 120 for 4th and 89 for 8th semester students (n = 209). The method that used is descriptive statistics, validity test, reliability test and t-test. Personal financial knowledge and personal behavior finance were significant differences between 4th and 8th semester students. For personal financial knowledge with significant value 0.000, and personal finance behavior with significant value 0.000. Personal financial attitudes was not significant differences between 4th and 8th semester students. For personal finance attitudes with significant value 0.064.

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation is to predict bankruptcy through the utilization of ESG disclosures. This study examines the influence of disclosure ratings on the financial distress risk of businesses listed in the Sri Kehati index from 2018 to 2022. It concentrates on the impact of disclosure scores on governance performance, social performance, and environmental performance. Panel data regression served as the methodology for the investigation, which included fourteen organizations. The independent variable is the environmental, social, and governance performance disclosure score, while the Altman Z-score proxy measured financial distress risk. The research uncovered a significant negative correlation between the disclosure of environmental performance and the risk of financial hardship. Furthermore, it identified a robust positive correlation between the risk of financial distress and social performance. There is no significant correlation between the disclosure of governance performance and the likelihood of financial hardship.

Abstract

Ketidakstabilan ekonomi yang semakin kompleks memberikan tantangan besar bagi pekerja konstruksi, terutama dalam mengelola keuangan mereka yang seringkali tidak menentu. Dalam konteks ketidakpastian ekonomi yang tinggi, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana literasi keuangan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan finansial pekerja konstruksi yang sering menghadapi fluktuasi pendapatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan literatur sistematis untuk menggali secara mendalam literasi keuangan dan kemandirian finansial pekerja konstruksi dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian ekonomi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pekerja konstruksi menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam mengelola keuangan mereka akibat ketidakstabilan pendapatan. Studi ini mengidentifikasi strategi-strategi pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif, seperti pembuatan anggaran, pembentukan dana darurat, dan diversifikasi pendapatan, yang dapat meningkatkan stabilitas finansial pekerja konstruksi. Peningkatan literasi keuangan pada pekerja konstruksi tidak hanya penting untuk kesejahteraan individu, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada stabilitas ekonomi secara keseluruhan

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on strengthening the understanding and application of tax accounting in the property industry, essential for improving tax compliance and efficiency. The targets of this activity include industry partners in the property sector located in Surabaya and Batu, East Java, as well as students involved in developing their practical skills. This activity aims to strengthen the skills of industry partners in tax calculation and reporting and develop solutions that can be integrated into their tax accounting practices. The methods used include observation to identify challenges and needs of industry partners, theoretical and practical training on tax calculation, and evaluation of activity results through questionnaires. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the knowledge and skills of industry partners related to tax accounting. The evaluation also identified the need to integrate tax planning into management and develop more efficient tax accounting applications.

Abstract

Construction workers, as the main pillar of infrastructure development, often face challenges in managing their finances. Income fluctuations, urgent living needs, and lack of access to formal financial products and services are the main obstacles. This community service aims to improve the understanding of financial literacy among construction workers in Sukolilo District, Surabaya by implementing simple financial management. The activity method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Furthermore, a SWOT analysis is carried out to enable the identification of actions that need to be taken to utilize potential and improve deficiencies, as well as to adapt to changes that may occur. The programs implemented include interactive training, individual consultations, and the provision of easy-to-understand educational materials. The training materials cover a variety of topics, from budget planning, debt management, to simple investments. The results of this community service show a significant increase in the level of financial literacy of participants. This is reflected in the increased ability of participants to prepare budgets, record expenses, and make wiser financial decisions. In addition, this program can also direct participants' financial behavior to improve savings habits and reduce dependence on high-interest loans. This financial literacy program for construction workers proves that with the right approach, we can empower them to achieve financial well-being. Through strong synergy, we can build a better future for construction workers and their families.
