Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the work environment and competence on the performance of ASN employees with motivation as an intervening variable in the Padang City Regional Secretariat. The type of research used is quantitative. Data collection was carried out through distributing a questionnaire of 120 respondents to employees of the Padang City Regional Secretariat, the questionnaire returned 99 respondents. Data analysis techniques are multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis. The results of the study were obtained that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Padang City Regional Secretariat. Competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Padang City Regional Secretariat. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on motivation at the Padang City Regional Secretariat. Competence has a positive and significant effect on motivation at the Padang City Regional Secretariat. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Padang City Regional Secretariat. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through motivation at the Padang City Regional Secretariat. Competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through motivation at the Padang City Regional Secretariat. The contribution of work environment, competence, and motivation to employee performance was 0.609 or 60.9%.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of low performance of honorary employees which is allegedly influenced by lack of compensation and unbalanced workload. This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and workload on the performance of honorary employees with work motivation as an intervening variable in the Solok City Regional Secretariat. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, where data is collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 103 honorary employees who are the research samples. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationship between the research variables. The results of the study indicate that compensation has a positive and significant effect on work motivation and employee performance. In contrast, workload shows a negative influence on work motivation but is not significant on employee performance. Additionally, work motivation is proven to be a significant intervening variable in mediating the effect of compensation on the performance of honorary employees. This study implies that increasing compensation can enhance employee motivation and performance, while excessive workload may decrease work motivation

Abstract

This study aims to find out the factors that affect the receipt of market service levy in Solok Regency. The type of research used is quantitative. The data analysis techniques used were multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis, by distributing questionnaires as many as 89 samples. The results of the study Market service fee rates have a positive and insignificant effect on the receipt of market service fees in Solok Regency. Human resources have a positive and significant effect on the receipt of market service fees in Solok Regency. Facilities and infrastructure have a positive and significant effect on the receipt of market service fees in Solok Regency. Awareness of mandatory fees has a positive and significant effect on the receipt of market service fees in Solok Regency. Market service fee rates, human resources, facilities and infrastructure and awareness of mandatory fees together have a positive and significant effect on the receipt of market service fees in Solok Regency. The contribution of market service fee rates, human resources, facilities and infrastructure and awareness of mandatory fees to the receipt of market service fees is 0.716 or 71.6%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi pengaruh kompensasi, disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman dengan Kepuasan Kerja sebagai variabel Intervening. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dari populasi kinerja pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang berjumlah 218 orang, yang terdiri dari 98 (sembilan puluh delapan) orang sebagai pegawai ASN dan 120 (seratus dua puluh) orang sebagai pegawai non ASN, dari jumlah populasi, sampel yang di ambil pada penelitian ini adalah 98 orang atau pegawai ASN. Data primer di peroleh dari kuesioner yang di bagikan ke pegawai ASN yang berjumlah 98 Orang. Analisis Data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Smart PLS Versi 4.0.1.6 dengan metode Structural Evaluation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS).  Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (4) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (5) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (6) Terdapat pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (7) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (8) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (9) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (10) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. (11) variabel kompensasi, disiplin kerja, lingkungan kerja berkontribusi sebesar 87,3 % terhadap kinerja pegawai sisanya di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian. (12) variabel kompensasi, disiplin kerja, lingkungan kerja berkontribusi sebesar 72,9% terhadap kepuasan kerja sisanya di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian
