Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of the principal in implementing the adiwiyata program at SDN Sungai Taib, through an in-depth exploration of the principal's leadership role in creating an innovative and collaborative learning environment. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data analysis using NVivo software. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The research participants included the principal, the vice principal, and several teachers. The research results show that the principal's leadership significantly contributes to the successful implementation of the adiwiyata program by creating a learning environment that supports innovation and creativity. The principal also managed to overcome resistance to change and resource limitations through effective and communicative leadership strategies. In conclusion, the principal's contribution to implementing the adiwiyata program at SDN Sungai Taib is highly significant. Through visionary and inclusive leadership, the principal successfully transformed SDN Sungai Taib into a National Adiwiyata School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the principal's leadership at PKBM Merah Putih Kotabaru in building a positive work culture and its impact on teacher performance. The objectives are to identify the role of the principal in fostering a positive work culture, the leadership styles applied, and the impact of this culture on teacher performance. A qualitative approach was used, focusing on a case study to deeply explore leadership practices at PKBM Merah Putih Kotabaru. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations involving the principal, teaching staff, and students, with analysis conducted using NVivo 14 software. The results indicate that the principal's inclusive leadership style, characterized by appreciation, active listening, a clear vision, and team development focus, effectively creates a positive work culture. This culture fosters a conducive and motivating work environment. Respondents highlighted the importance of clear communication, open discussions, and continuous development efforts by the principal. The study concludes that effective leadership significantly contributes to building a positive work environment, enhancing teacher performance, and improving the overall quality of education at PKBM Merah Putih Kotabaru.

Abstract

In the era of rapid educational transformation, school leadership plays a crucial role in fostering innovation and adaptability. This study explores the role of Agile Leadership in driving learning innovation at SMAN 1 Kelumpang Hilir. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing to ensure comprehensive findings. The results indicate that implementing adaptive, collaborative, and flexible Agile Leadership fosters an innovative learning environment. School leaders who adopt these principles enhance teacher and student engagement in project-based learning and digital technology integration. Key aspects of Agile Leadership include decision-making flexibility, stakeholder collaboration, and curriculum innovation. Additionally, Agile Leadership promotes continuous feedback and data-driven decision-making, enabling schools to swiftly adapt to policy changes and student needs. This study provides practical insights for school leaders to integrate Agile Leadership into educational management, ensuring adaptability and sustainability in a dynamic learning environment.

Abstract

The implementation of an effective quality management system is essential in improving the quality of education in high school. This study aims to illustrate the implementation of the Total Quality Management (TQM) model in supporting the work quality culture at SMAN 1 Kelumpang Utara. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. In-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation were carried out on the principal, 15 teachers, 3 staff, 1 head of sub-division, and 15 students. The data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman Models, which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The findings show that TQM has been implemented at SMAN 1 Kelumpang Utara with an emphasis on creating consistency of goals, improving the quality of graduates and services, improving the quality and productivity of school stakeholders, leadership in education, eliminating fear and obstacles to success, creating a culture of quality, process improvement, helping students succeed, commitment, and responsibility. However, there are still obstacles in the total involvement of all school members and continuous improvement. A TQM implementation model is necessary to support a quality work culture that involves staff engagement, leadership, partnerships, reward systems, and organizational quality. These components must be based on a system of values, norms, and culture formulated in a vision, mission, and goals that are understood by all members of the organization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas, kemandirian, dan keterampilan motorik halus anak kelompok A TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Banjarmasin. Kondisi tersebut ditunjukkan oleh kurangnya keterlibatan anak dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, ketergantungan anak terhadap bantuan guru, serta belum optimalnya koordinasi gerakan mata dan tangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aktivitas, kemandirian, dan keterampilan motorik halus anak melalui kombinasi model Project Based Learning, Direct Instruction, dan media Pop-Up sederhana. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan selama empat pertemuan. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 13 anak kelompok A TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak, kemandirian, dan keterampilan motorik halus anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru meningkat dari kategori Cukup Baik menjadi Sangat Baik. Aktivitas anak mencapai kategori Semua Anak Aktif, kemandirian anak mencapai kategori Sangat Mandiri, dan keterampilan motorik halus anak mencapai kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Dengan demikian, kombinasi model Project Based Learning, Direct Instruction, dan media Pop-Up sederhana terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan aktivitas, kemandirian, dan keterampilan motorik halus anak kelompok A TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas anak, kemandirian anak, dan kemampuan aspek motorik halus anak dalam mengguntig sesuai pola. Hal ini disebabkan pembelajaran yang bersifat satu arah, penggunaan media kurang bervariasi dan kurang menarik dan kurangnya kesempatan anak untuk berlatih keterampilan motorik halus secara langsung. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, menganalisis aktivitas anak, kemandirian dan menganalisis hasil perkembangan motorik halus anak. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 4 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru memperoleh kategori sangat baik, aktivitas anak memproleh kategori Sangat Aktif, kemandirian anak memproleh kategori Sangat Mandiri, dan hasil perkembangan motorik halus anak memperoleh kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Berdasarkan temuan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kombinasi Model Project Based Learning dan Direct Instruction dan Media Kertas Bergambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar anak. Pada aktivitas guru mencapai kriteria sangat baik dan aktivitas anak mencapai kriteria sangat aktif kemandirian anak mencapai skor sangat mandiri serta perkembangan motorik halus anak mencapai berkembang sangat baik. Diharapkan bagi guru, kepala sekolah dan peneliti selanjutnya dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif saat memilih model pembelajaran secara keseluruhan.
