Abstract

Dauh Puri Kaja Village, located in the North Denpasar District of Bali, is the village with the highest population density in the district. This has resulted in Dauh Puri Kaja Village being dominated by built-up areas, consisting mostly of residential settlements with moderate to high building base coefficients, as well as commercial areas such as shophouses and office buildings. This research aimed to determine the influence of land cover types on the level of thermal comfort in Dauh Puri Kaja Village based on the Temperature Humidity Index (THI). The method used in this research was a survey method with quantitative descriptive data. The research stages included preparation, inventory, analysis, synthesis, and recommendations. The results showed that thermal conditions in DauhPuri Kaja Village were generally uncomfortable, with an average daily THI of 29.7. The existing land cover in the village consisted of 70% paved surfaces, 25% green open space, and 5% water bodies. Therefore, to achieve ideal thermal comfort with a target THI value of 26, this study recommends increasing green open space by 21.54 hectares, or 20% of the total area of Dauh Puri Kaja Village. This recommendation was based on the results of a linear regression analysis, which identified a correlation between thermal comfort levels and land cover. The addition of green open space could be realized through the development of community parks and the regulation of yard usage.

This study aimed to assess the visual quality of the landscape of Bypass Dharma Giri Street. This research used a survey method with an analysis of landscape beauty estimation used Scenic Beauty Estimation (SBE) and analysis of impressions that arise in the landscape used Semantic Differential (SD). The result of the research was the score of the visual quality of the landscape of Bypass Dharma Giri Street. The assessment shows that the visual quality of the landscape of Bypass Dharma Giri Street is dominated by landscapes that have moderate visual landscape quality. Recommendations for the arrangement and maintenance of landscape elements based on high visual quality are needed, therefore they can be used as input to improve the visual quality of the landscape of the Bypass Dharma Giri Street corridor.

Klungkung Regency is one of the districts in Bali which has many beaches that have the potential to be used as recreational areas. One beach is called Sidayu located in the southern part of Klungkung Regency. According to regional regulations, this beach is an area that can be potentially developed into a recreational area as it offers a beautiful vast rice field and ocean view. However, from observations, this beach has not yet plan well. There was no inadequate space arrangement and facilities to support recreational activities. This research aims to develop this beach into a recreational area by applying the waterfront park concept according to waterfront principles. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and literature study. The research stages consist of inventory, analysis, synthesis, and concepts with the aspects studied being biophysical and socio-cultural aspects. There were two zones recommended, namely the active recreation zone without which is an undeveloped zone, and the passive recreation zone for development infrastructure. The circulation plan was divided into primary circulation, secondary circulation, and alternative assistance routes. The vegetation plan provided was carried out by maintaining the original vegetation and adding new vegetation according to its function and character. Part of the facility concept is the concept of supporting facilities and coastal protection infrastructure facilities. The product resulting from the research carried out is in the form of a recommended image of Sidayu Beach as a recreation park in the form of a site plan
