Abstract

This study investigates functionalities on social media platforms that promote effective knowledge sharing, focusing on information quality and user engagement. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted to analyze relevant research. The findings reveal that functionalities like content creation and curation tools, user interaction and feedback mechanisms, community building and gamification elements, and knowledge filtering and recommendation systems all contribute to a positive knowledge-sharing environment. These functionalities empower users to create high-quality content, engage in discussions that refine information, and discover trustworthy sources. The study highlights the potential of social media platforms for knowledge sharing but acknowledges that the effectiveness of functionalities can vary depending on the platform and audience. Future research is recommended to explore the most impactful functionalities in specific contexts and the interplay between functionalities, user behavior, and information quality.

Abstract

Indonesia has great potential as a halal tourism destination, and based on the 2023 Global Muslim Index, Indonesia is ranked first as a halal tourism destination. Bali, as one of the favorite tourist destinations in Indonesia, is, of course, also attractive for Muslim travelers. Unfortunately, there is still limited information regarding various Muslim Friendly tourist attractions and facilities there. The existing halal tourism information system also still has a low rating. This study uses a prototyping approach to design a halal tourism information system that is easy to use and access, especially for halal tourism in Bali. The prototype tested with the usability test obtained an average value of 3.9 on a 5 scale and got a higher score of 4.3 on ease of use and application expectations. The score shows that the system fulfilled its proposal to create an information system for halal tourism in Bali, Indonesia, which is easy to access and use.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is developing rapidly and is increasingly being applied in various fields, including cybersecurity. However, this development also introduces new, more sophisticated threats that are difficult to detect. AI-based cyber threats, including adaptive malware, highly personalized phishing, deepfakes for identity manipulation, adaptive distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, and automated ransomware, are projected to escalate by 2025. These threats' complexity requires a security approach that relies not only on technology but also on human awareness as the first line of defense. In Indonesia, the 2024 Cybersecurity Landscape Report, published by the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), shows that public and institutional awareness of information security is still relatively low. This study presents a systematic literature review of 30 articles to examine how security awareness is being strengthened in the context of AI-based cyber threats. The review identified six main categories of AI enabled threats social engineering and phishing, content manipulation and impersonation, malware and ransomware, attacks against machine learning models, service disruption, and automated AI-orchestrated attacks. In parallel, seven categories of awareness strategies were synthesized: education and training programs, gamification and simulation-based learning, policy and governance support, technical and system-level controls, collaboration and multi-stakeholder engagement, legal and ethical frameworks, and psychological or human-centric approaches. The findings highlight that strengthening security awareness requires an integrated and multidimensional approach that bridges technological, organizational, regulatory, and human-centered efforts.
