Abstract

This research is an action regarding the use of word wall media to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes on my family tree material for class II students at SDN 067240 Medan Tembung for the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is classroom action research. Data collection was obtained using test methods, observation guides and field notes. Analysis of test results shows that students experienced consistent increases in learning outcomes in both cycles when compared with learning outcomes during the preliminary study. Success criteria were also achieved in the implementation of actions in both cycles. Supporting data through observation also shows that the use of word wall media can increase student activity in learning as indicated by obtaining high activity scores. The use of word wall media in Indonesian language learning has been proven to be able to increase learning outcomes and student activity. The learning outcomes in the pre-cycle were 20%, increasing in cycle I to 60% and increasing again in cycle II to 87% in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

Improving thematic learning outcomes through the PJBL model for Class III students at SDN 067240 Medan Tembung. Pre-service PPG Follow-up Research for Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra, 2024. This research aims to describe: 1) Describe the application of the PjBL Model to improve student learning outcomes in Class III Indonesian language content. 2) Describe the increase in learning activity in students using the PjBL model in Indonesian Language content for Class III SDN 067240 Medan Tembung. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was carried out in 2 cycles, and each cycle held two meetings. The subjects of this research were 17 class III students at SDN 067240 Medan Tembung, which was carried out in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The object of this research is learning outcomes in learning Indonesian using the PjBL Model. Research data collection techniques use observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research uses qualitative and quantitative data. The research results show that there is an influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model with the peer lesson strategy on the learning outcomes of class III students at SDN 067240 Medan Tembung. This is evidenced by the percentage between pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II which experienced a significant increase. The percentage in the pre-cycle was 35%, while in the first cycle it was 59%, then after the second cycle it increased to 85%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the thematic learning outcomes of class III students at SD Negeri 067240 Medan using the talking stick learning model. The form of this research is classroom action research (PTK) using quantitative research using experimental methods. The research results found that student learning outcomes showed only 44% completion and these results were not satisfactory. Student learning outcomes in cycle I with an average score obtained was 73.8 with a student completion level of 61% and this was said to be quite good. Student learning outcomes in cycle II obtained an average score of 81.6 with a completion percentage level of 83% which can be said to be very good. The results of the research conducted show that student learning outcomes have increased significantly by using the talking stick learning model.

The form of this research is classroom action research (PTK) using quantitative research using experimental methods. The research results found that student learning outcomes showed only 44% completion and these results were not satisfactory. Student learning outcomes in cycle I with an average score obtained was 70 with a student completion level of 55% and this was said to be quite good. Student learning outcomes in cycle II obtained an average score of 80 with a completion percentage level of 83% which can be said to be very good. The results of the research conducted show that students' science learning outcomes have improved significantly by using the Make A Match learning model.
