Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to find out the students’ achievement and retention of ecosystem learning material at class X MIA SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak. Pre-experimental design with one shot case study planning was chosen as the form of this research. Class X MIA 5 was taken as the sample in this research by deploying purposive sampling technique in determining the sample. The instrument administered in this research was multiple choice test consisted of 20 questions. On average, students’ learning result was 18, 16 by using scientific approach and the retention result was 17, 38. From normalized gain test using scientific approach, students’ learning result in ecosystem learning material was 0, 80 considered as high. Furthermore, students’ retention score in ecosystem learning material by using scientific approach was 95, 70% which categorized as high. Therefore, it can be concluded that teaching by using scientific approach gives positive impact on students’ learning achievement and retention at ecosystem learning material at class X MIA 5 SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak. Abstract

 AbstractThis research aims to determine the feasibility of e-comic on the submaterial Endocrine System in XI grade of Senior High School. The methods used in this research was descriptive research survey form. Research instrument used was sheet validation. The eligibility of  e-comic was measured through validity test by 6 validator consists of 3 person material expert validator and 3 media expert validator. The validity test of material expert covering aspects of the format, content, and language with an average of every aspect of 3.66; 3.66; and 4, while testing the validity of media expert covering aspects of simplicity, alignment, balance, form, and color with an average of every aspect of 4; 4; 3.66; 3.66; and 4. The e-comic validation result was obtained an average validation value of material was 3.77 and an average validation value of media was 3,86. It could be concluded  that e-comic was feasibility to be used as learning media on the submaterial Endocrine System in grade XI of Senior High School.Keywords: feasibility, e-comic, submaterial, endocrine system.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know the feasibility of excretion system module for 8th grade junior high school. The research used descriptive method with survey form. Research instrument used is sheet validation. Feasibility assessment of the module is obtained through validity test by 5 examiners. Validity test including presentation aspect, gradability, content and language. The average value of each aspects are 3,78; 3,56; 3,63; and 3,6. From the result of module validation, the obtained average value is 3,64 which categorised as valid. It is concluded that the module is feasible to use as teaching material of excretion system for 8th grade junior high school.Keywords: Feasibility, Modul, Material Excretion System
