Abstract

 AbstrackThis study aimed to analyze the effect of using the power of two strategy in learning civic education towards students outcome of the fifth grade of elementary schools in Pontianak subdistrict. The method used is experiment with the form of quasi experimental design. The population in this study is the entire fifth grade of elementary schools in Pontianak subditrict with special criteria, consisted of 431 people. Based on data analysis obtained average yield post-test student 74,67. Based on the analysis of hypothesis testing using t-test  is obtained  = 3,10 was obtained    = 1,997, which means t_hitung (3,10)> t table (1,997), so Ha is received. So we can conclude that there is an influence on the implementation of the power of two strategy in learning civic education towards students outcome of the fifth grade of elementary schools in Pontianak subdistrict. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan metode eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri   24 Pontianak Tenggara”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III A berjumlah 22 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata pre-test sebesar 54 dan setelah diberikan perlakuan terdapat peningkatan rata-rata post-test menjadi 71,63. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Metode  Eksperimen terhadap pemahaman konsep pada Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas III. Berdasarkan perhitungan effect size (ES) diperoleh ES sebesar 1,923 (kategori tinggi), hal ini berarti penggunaan Metode Eksperimen pada Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam memberikan pengaruh dengan kategori tinggi terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa di kelas III SDN 24 Pontianak Tenggara. Kata kunci: Metode Eksperimen, Hasil Belajar Abstract: The purpose of this research is "To test the effect of the application of the experimental method on learning outcomes in learning Natural Sciences in class III State Elementary School 24 East Pontianak". The method used is Pre-Experimental Design with the design of the study is One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Samples were students of class III A was 22 people. Based on the analysis of data, obtained an average pre-test at 54 and after being given treatment there is an increase in the average post-test becomes 71.63. From these data it can be concluded that there are significant Experimental Methods of use of the understanding of the concept at the Natural Science Learning in class III. Based on the calculation of the effect size (ES) ES obtained amounted to 1,923 (high category), this means the use of Experimental Methods in Natural Sciences Learning to give effect to the high category of the understanding of the concept of third grade students at SDN 24 South East Pontianak. Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted during the Covid-19 emergency. The research was conducted to see the learning process one of the skills in Indonesian language learning, namely writing skills. This study aimed to analyze and describe the quality of students' essays based on series pictures and answer all problems in the study. The method used in this research was descriptive with a qualitative type and a case study form. Sources of research data were the results of essays based on series pictures, students of class III of Public Alementary School 15 South Pontianak, with a total of 22 students. From this research, it can be explained that 7 students' essays that can be analyzed, while 15 students did not get assignments because they were constrained by learning facilities, so they could not collect their essays. The results of the study showed that all student essays had not been written optimally. Of the 7 essays, only 4 students could be categorized as complete in the process because they followed the instructions for the work correctly. Meanwhile, 3 other student essays did not follow the instructions, they did not even finish. With this research, it can describe learning conditions during the Covid-19 emergency. Keywords: Analysis, Essay, Picture Series, Learning during the Covid-19 Emergency, Case Studies.
