Abstract This research aims to describe the influence of the use of a model Make a Match of the results of the learning civic eduacation a student of class V SDN 09 West Pontianak. Research method used is experimental method with Quasi Eksperimental Design with Design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Population in this research is all students grade V B and V C academic year 2016 / 2017 which consisted of 68 people. Subjects of the sample were V B students consisting of 34 students (experiments) and 34 students (control) V C class. The research instrument is a matter of multiple choice test with 35 questions. Based on data analysis, the average of post test control class result is 60,06 and average result of post test of experiment class 70,24. Based on the T test obtained tarithmetic 3,6930 and ttable α = 5% equal to 1,998, which means tarithmetic (3,6930)> ttabel (1,998), then alternative hypothesis be accepted. Of reckoning as effect size (ES), obtained effect size of 0,96 ( high criteria ) . This means that the use of Make a Match model gives a high influences on students civic education learning outcomes in class V SDN 09 West Pontianak. AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the influence of the application of scramble type of cooperative learning model in thematic learning on the learning outcomes tin fifth grade V students of Elementary School 39 Pontianak Kota. The method used is experimental method, with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study is amounted to 63 students. The sample is using the Non-probability sampling technique with purpossive sampling which amounted to 63 students. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques with using the tool in the form of test with multiple choice form amounted to 50 problem. The result of the research is the averagee post-test control class is 71,96 meanwhile averagee post-test experiment class is 76,25. Based on the analysis of hypothesis using t-test obtained tcount = 2,179 for dk = 56 and α = 5% obtained ttable = 1,6788 means tcount (2,179) > ttable (1,6788), then Ha accepted. From the calculation of effect size obtained is 0,41 (medium category). It means the learning with the aplication of scramble type of cooperative learning model has a positive influence on the learning outcomes tin fifth grade V students of Elementary School 39 Pontianak Kota. AbstractThis study aimed to describe the understanding of students concepts in solving fraction counting operations in fifth grade elementeri school 03 Pontianak Kota. The research method used in this study was descriptive in the from of case study research. The subject in this study were 25 fifth grade elementeri school 03 Pontianak, totaling 25 students.The results of the study showed that the understanding of the concept of upper group students totaling 5 students was high because it could fulfill the first indicator and the second indicator. to understand the concept of the middle group is enough, from 14 students as many as 8 students can meet the first indicator used by researchers that is using, utilizing, and selecting certain procedures or operations and the second indicator is applying the concept to problem solving, while as many as 6 students cannot fulfill indicators used by researchers. while the understanding of the concept of lower group students totaling 6 students is low because it cannot meet the first indicator and the second indicator used by researchers. overall the understanding of students' concepts in solving operational problems in fractions in class V is still low with an average student score of 50.07.
