Abstract

This study aimed to described and know the implementation of learning at low grade by using Quantum Teaching approach. The subjects in this study were teachers and students at the lower grade, in Private Elementary School Cahaya Kemuliaan Sosok Sanggau. The data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis is done through the following phases : data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Mechanical examination of the validity of data by using triangulation. The results indicate that : (1) The teacher composes the RPP by combining stretch techniques to design learning, (2) The implementation of learning with the Quantum Teaching approach with TANDUR techniques has been carried out in accordance with RPP which has been designed in learning activities, and (3) Learning achievement of students in class I ranges from 40-80  with an average  of  60,05. Class II the value between 40-100  with an average of  63,16 and class III ranges from 40-80 with an average of  60,22. Learning done at the lower grade with the intention that Quantum Teaching model with TANDUR activities can provide very posititive benefits for students especially in determining knowledge and learning experience, learning becomes fun, passionate and active.Top of Form       Keywords: Learning at low grade, TANDUR Activities, Quantum Teaching

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the strategy and design of learning IPA through the scientific approach in elementary school. This research was carried out three primary schools at Parindu, comprising SDN 06 , SDN 12  and SDN 14. The data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis used: data reduction, data display, and conclusion, the results: (1) Learning the natural science  carried out in primary schools has done with the Scientific approach, (2) RPP is designed in accordance with the IPA learning design leads to scientific activity, 3)  Obstacles: the ability of teachers to design and  make RPP still lack,  availability of other learning resources, lack of diversity of learning media, lack of interest and motivation  students to conduct experiments,(4) Solution: teacher make improvements to planned learning according to RPP, teacher  prepares the books and learning  platform  that is relevant to the learning materials, teacher tries to provide self-created learning media, teacher tries to motivated the students in developing self confidence, interest, and enthusiasm for learning, (5) The  average acquisition of student learning outcomes at SDN 06 (59,33) , SDN 12 (60,12) dan  SDN 14 (63,57).       Keywords : Natural Sciences Learning,  Scientific Approach

Abstract

Abstract The main educational issues today are quality and character. Integrated thematic learning in Elementary School is expected to be a solution. This study aimed to describe the implementation of integrated thematic learning as well as the internalization of the nation's character values, including religious and disciplinary characters. This is descriptive qualitative research, described fact and phenomenon in detail and intact. Researcher served as an instrument of data collection. This subject is the fourth-grade teacher of A SDIT Al Mumtaz. Techniques of collecting data used: interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity was obtained by triangulation. Data analysis includes data reduction, analysis, and conclusions. The conclusion of the study: first, integrated thematic learning at SDIT Al Mumtaz combined of the 2013 curriculum with SIT concept from JSIT Indonesia. The combination of enrichment in the material and the learning process (steps T-E-R-P-A-D-U). Second, internalization of values through exemplary, habituation, advice and lessons, attention and supervision, and reward and punishment. Third, supporting factors such as the concept of JSIT, young teachers and fast learners, and commitment to synergy parents of learners.  Keywords: character, internalized values, thematic integrated
