Abstract

AbstractThis research was influenced by the occurrence of changes in the movement of the Jepin Langkah Bsimillah dance so that the researcher wants to maintain the authenticity of the Jepin Langkah Bismillah dance. This research uses the descriptive method in the qualitative form and uses the choreography approach. The interviewees in this research are Suhaili, Syamsul Watan and Alkhanul Khairat who know about the Jepin Langkah Bismillah dance in Siantan Hilir Village, North Pontianak District. The techniques of data collection used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity testing techniques used are the extension of observation and sources triangulation. Based on the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that the structures of the Jepin Langkah Bismillah dance movements at Siantan Hilir Village, North Pontianak District are as follows: There are 3 types of motion which are described based on the smallest part first, namely the motion motives, motion phrases, sentences of motion and groups of movement that become a unified whole of motions in the Jepin Langkah Bismillah dance. Jepin Langkah Bismillah consists of 108 motion motives, 97 motion phrases, 35 motion sentences and 4 motion groups with tahto as a liaison.Keywords: Motion Structure, Jepin Langkah Bismillah Dance.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to describe the existence of the Jepin Tali Bintang Dance. The topic of this research is related to the development of the Jepin Tali Bintang Dance from the beginning of its creator until it can survive today and describes the factors that influence the development of the Jepin Tali Bintang Dance. The research method used was a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research is employed in this research by using a historical approach and performing several steps, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Sources of data are obtained by observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of testing the validity of the data is using extended observations, triangulation of data sources. The Jepin Tali Bintang Dance is one of the dances originating from the Kubu kingdom, which is located in Kubu Raya Regency. This dance entered and developed in the 18th century ranging from 1930 to 1940. At first, this dance was only performed from people's homes to other residents' homes, but over time this dance was introduced to the wider community and this dance began to be performed at big events such as Pontianak City Anniversary and Culmination Point Festival. From 1930 to 2021, the Jepin Tali Bintang dance still exists in the community and the Art Performance Education campus.Keywords: Existance, Jepin Tali Bintang Dance

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is to find out and understand more deeply the form of Jepin Kembang Manggar dance presentation in Batu Layang Subdistrict, North Pontianak District, which includes: dance movements, top design, floor design, dramatic design, dynamics, group composition, themes, musical accompaniment, cosmetology and fashion, property and venue.  This study uses descriptive methods in a qualitative form and uses a choreographic approach.  The results of this study are the dance name Jepin Kembang Manggar taken from the property name, manggar.  Jepin Kembang Manggar dance has an initial, middle and final motion.  Jepin Kembang Manggar dance is a group dance and can be danced en masse.  The musical instruments used to elevate the Jepin flower dance of Manggar are Gambus, Gendang Panjang, Tawak / Gong, Tar, Violin and Accordion.  Jepin Kembang Manggar dance, using realist makeup.  Clothing worn by female dancers, brackets, trousers, gills, obi, and flower accessories and earrings.  The clothing worn by male dancers uses a telok pot, gill cloths, and the slopes worn on the head.  The property used is the flower shaped Manggar. Keywords: Dance, Jepin Kembang Manggar, Presentation

Abstract

Abstract The present research was conducted in order to describe the data and the information completely about the Jepin Tembung Panjang dance. The purpose of this research is to describe and record the Jepin Tembung Panjang dance in written form, pictures, and video. The method that used in this research is descriptive analysis in form of descriptive qualitative research and use the ethnochoreology approach with choreography discipline. The sources of this research are Muhammad Yusuf Dahyani and Anwar Dja’far that knowing about the form of presenting the Jepin Tembung Panjang in Pontianak city, Kalimantan Barat. The data collection of this research are observation, interview and documentation study. Technique of testing the validity data that used are extension of observations and triangulation technique. Jeping Tembung Panjang dance can be danced en masse with a multiple of four dancers. The instruments to company this are Beruas, Gambus, Akordion dan Biola. The Jeping Tembung Panjang dance will use realist makeup. This dance will be danced by two dancer those are male and female. Keywords: form of presentation, Jepin Tembung Panjang dance.
