Abstract

This research was conducted at the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of YouTube in increasing motivation to learn inferential statistics for the economic education study program FKIP Untan seen from the use of YouTube, student learning motivation, and the advantages and disadvantages of using YouTube. This type of research approach is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. There were 6 informants, of which 5 were students and 1 was a lecturer in inferential statistics. Data collection techniques with interviews and direct observation. Based on the research it was found that: 1) the use of YouTube was used in 2020, the amount of time students watched YouTube in a day was an average of 4-6 hours, the duration of videos used in learning was 12-14 minutes, and students liked videos. YouTube is used in the learning process because the explanations are easy to understand and can be used as examples in doing assignments; 2) students' learning motivation can be seen from: a) their desire to graduate, b) enthusiasm for learning and doing assignments, c) being able to answer questions during the question and answer session; 3) the advantages are shown in: quickly understanding the material, the disadvantages are on the internet network and internet quota, and the difficulty in conducting direct questions and answers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the character of the responsibility of students in economic learning at SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive qualitative.research method. The source of the research data was one teacher and 5 students from SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are collection, reduction, display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are some students who still do not have a good character of responsibility, there are still many who do not do the task optimally, there are still many who have not been able to do their own work, there is still no awareness in themselves about their responsibilities as students. The teacher uses two ways to apply the responsible character of students in economic learning, namely in the form of praise (motivation), and in the form of sanctions to provide a deterrent effect on students who do not have the character of responsibility well. students do not get bored quickly with the material explained to students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using videoscribe inimproving economic learning outcomes for class XII students of MAN1 Sintang. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi�experimental form. Sources of data in this study were students of classXII IIS 1 as a control class as many as 36 students and XII IIS 4 as anexperimental class as many as 39 students, the data taken to see theeffectiveness of using videoscribe was the learning outcomes ofstudents after the implementation of videoscribe. The results of thestudy were tested using the T-Test test in the experimental class whichshowed a significant difference, namely the increase in learningoutcomes after being given treatment using the vdeoscribe. This studywas also tested using the N-Gein test to find out how mucheffectiveness the use of videoscribe in improving learning outcomes ineconomic subjects for trading company materials, the test resultsshowed a percentage of 46% the effectiveness of using videoscribe inthe experimental class while 18% effectiveness the use of conventionalmethods in the control class. The conclusion that can be drawn is thatthe use of videoscribe in the economics subject matter of tradingcompanies is 28% more effective in improving learning outcomescompared to conventional methods.
