Abstract

This research discusses online credit transactions from an Islamic economic perspective. The rapid development of online loan services has made access to financing easier, but has also brought a number of problems, including: B. High interest rates, unclear contracts, and the potential for abuse. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a normative approach to assess whether online lending practices are in accordance with Islamic economic principles such as the prohibition of usury, gharar and exploitative practices (Zulm). Based on analysis, most traditional online loans are not in accordance with sharia principles because they contain elements of usury, contract clarity and transparency. As an alternative, sharia-based fintech offers trading models using sharia contracts such as Murabaha, Ijarah, and Khald al-Hasan. However, there are still various challenges in implementing Sharia Fintech, including: B. Regulations, User Training, and Technology Infrastructure Development. This study recommends strengthening sharia fintech regulations, supervision of related institutions, and increasing the public's sharia financial literacy. These insights contribute to the development of Islamic economics literature and provide practical solutions for integrating financial technology and Sharia values.

Abstract

The Indonesian Ship Contest (KKI) is a maritime technology innovation competition for university students. The Shankara ship in the Electric Remote Control (ERC) category is at risk of hull leaks that could damage electronic components. This study designed an automatic leak detection and mitigation system based on the Arduino Nano, utilizing a water level sensor, a relay, and a 12V DC pump. The system operates by automatically activating the pump based on the sensor’s ADC reading when water reaches a threshold level. The research methodology includes system design and testing under static and dynamic boat conditions. Test results show that the system can accurately detect leaks and activate the pump at a volume of ±300 mL. The implementation of this system successfully improved the boat’s operational reliability and safety standards during the competition.
