Abstract

In the implementation of education, financing is a potential that greatly determines the quality of human resources and is an inseparable part of education administration management. Because cost is very important in the implementation of education, so universities need effective and efficient financing management, in order to produce quality graduates. In improving the quality of graduates, strong support is needed in learning activities, the use of educational facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the provisions of national education standards. Of the many criteria for improving the quality of graduates, it is inseparable from the costs in the implementation of the educational process. This study aims to describe and find out: (1) Budget planning to improve the quality of education at Ummu Aiman Lawang Elementary School and Islamic Elementary School (2) Budget fulfillment strategy to improve the quality of education at Ummu Aiman Lawang Elementary School and Islamic Elementary School (3) Budget evaluation to improve the quality of education at Ummu Aiman Lawang Elementary School. This research uses a qualitative approach of analytical descriptive type. The methods of data collection are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model which includes four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of data using Credibility, Transferability, Dependability, and Confirmability. The results showed that: 1) the planning of the education budget of SD Ummu Aiman Lawang was prepared and outlined in the form of an RKAS held at the end of each year by determining all programs along with the budget of each program. Involving school stakholders, through meetings and meeting decisions that have been agreed upon again decided by the head of the foundation 2) Strategies for fulfilling the budget to improve the quality of education at Ummu Aiman Lawang Elementary School and namely: a. independent work unit strategy, b. donations of funds from foundations and students, c. having links with foreign countries, and d. submitting proposals to the government. 3) Evaluation of Education Financing in Improving Quality. Education at SD Ummu Aiman Lawang is carried out through: 1) program evaluation is carried out every semester or year, 2) evaluation of employee performance results, 3) evaluation of organizational mechanisms, 4) evaluation of internal and external analysis results.

Abstract

Education is a vital component in the development of a nation, and the quality of education is greatly influenced by the management of human resources for education personnel. To improve the professionalism of education personnel, human resource management in education needs to be improved and monitored regularly. This study aims to analyze the planning and implementation of the madrasah principal's supervision, with the goal of improving the performance of education personnel at MTsN 1 Pasuruan. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation, while data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the planning of supervision by the madrasah principal follows the stages that have been set out in the supervision book, such as background and legal basis, results of previous year's supervision, setting targets and schedules, selecting appropriate approaches, techniques, and models, and selecting supervision instruments. In its implementation, supervision is carried out in a family manner, which allows education personnel to feel appreciated and actively involved in the education process without feeling forced. The contribution of this study shows that effective supervision can improve the performance and professionalism of educational staff, which in turn improves the quality of educational services in institutions. Fulfillment of educational staff competencies is an important factor in achieving these goals.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the role of the kiai figure who is a central figure in Islamic boarding schools where the kyai has its own leadership characteristics compared to other educational figures. In practice, the kyai assigns a special organization whose job is to take care of all matters relating to the santri. The pesantren organization will run optimally if the Kyai directly monitors and supervises the activities and work programs in the organization. The role of the kyai in leading the pesantren organization greatly influences the performance carried out by its members. The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership strategy and leadership role of the kyai in the pesantren organization at the Asyrofuddin Conggeang Sumedang Islamic boarding school. The results of this study indicate that the kyai's leadership strategy in fostering the Islamic boarding school organization in Asyrofuddin Islamic boarding school includes dividing the three executive boards of the Islamic boarding school, selecting members of the organization and the executive board, fostering the Islamic boarding school organization.

Abstract

Pesantren in the era of globalization face great challenges in maintaining the religious character of students in the midst of the swift flow of modernization. Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Hidayah Sidoarjo as one of the traditional Islamic boarding schools tries to integrate Islamic values with the demands of the times through the POAC management approach (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). This study aims to analyze the implementation of POAC management in developing the religious character of students and identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation for 3 months, in-depth interviews with 12 informants (caregivers, ustadz, and santri), and document analysis. Data were analyzed interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion verification. The results showed that the implementation of POAC management at Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Hidayah Sidoarjo runs effectively through Planning: Structured program preparation such as tahajud congregation and yellow book studies. Organizing: Clear division of tasks between the fields of education, religion, and independence. Actuating: Implementation of mentoring system and exemplary by ustadz. Controlling: Monthly evaluation through muhasabah and monitoring of santri behavior. This research contributes a model of implementing POAC management contextualized with pesantren culture, as well as offering practical strategies for Islamic educational institutions in facing the challenges of globalization without losing religious identity.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide assistance in utilizing the Management Information System (MIS) for managing student data at Al Munawwaroh Rejoso Junior High School. The partners in this activity are school operators who directly handle student data administration. The implementation methods include initial observation, training, technical assistance, and evaluation of the results. The assistance process focuses on the use of the EMIS system and other school support platforms, utilizing available devices such as laptops and the internet. The results of the activity show that this assistance has helped improve the understanding and skills of school operators in inputting, processing, and presenting student data more effectively and accurately. In addition, the availability of facilities, good planning, and internal monitoring support also strengthened the quality of school data management. With the optimal implementation of the Management Information System, SMP Al Munawwaroh Rejoso was able to produce faster, more accurate, and more structured administrative reports, thereby supporting improvements in the quality of educational services and facilitating the monitoring of student development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji manajemen kurikulum berbasis pendidikan holistik di Sekolah Islam Terpadu sebagai solusi atas persoalan dikotomi ilmu pengetahuan. Tujuannya adalah untuk menganalisis strategi sekolah dalam mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan spiritual dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi etnografi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian diolah melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum terintegrasi ini berhasil diimplementasikan, berkat kepemimpinan yang kuat dan konsistensi dalam menerapkan filosofi tauhid sebagai landasan. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kunci keberhasilan terletak pada kemampuan manajemen sekolah dalam menerjemahkan nilai-nilai ideal menjadi praktik nyata. Implikasinya adalah pentingnya model manajemen holistik untuk menciptakan lulusan yang seimbang secara intelektual dan spiritual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi pengembangan madrasah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan melalui integrasi tiga komponen utama, yakni kurikulum berbasis kompetensi, kepemimpinan transformatif, dan pemberdayaan komunitas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi terlibat, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis secara sistematis melalui proses reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk memperoleh temuan yang valid dan kredibel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi dengan penekanan pada konteks lokal mampu meningkatkan relevansi proses pembelajaran serta kompetensi praktis peserta didik. Kepemimpinan transformatif kepala madrasah berperan signifikan dalam membangun budaya kerja kolaboratif, meningkatkan motivasi guru, serta mendorong inovasi pembelajaran. Di samping itu, pemberdayaan komunitas memperkuat dukungan sosial dan menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang partisipatif dan inklusif. Integrasi ketiga dimensi tersebut menghasilkan model pengembangan madrasah yang bersifat holistik, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan perlunya kebijakan penguatan peran kepala madrasah sebagai agen perubahan, penyesuaian kurikulum dengan kebutuhan lokal dan global, serta optimalisasi keterlibatan komunitas dalam mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan madrasah.

Abstract

Installment sale transactions frequently raise potential issues regarding non-compliance with Sharia principles, making the murabahah contract a vital Islamic solution emphasizing the honesty and transparency of the cost price. However, implementing this contract in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector often faces practical challenges, particularly in fulfilling the essential requirement of cost disclosure. This study aims to analyze the Sharia compliance of the murabahah implementation at Toko Raina Collection and to describe the mitigation efforts for the resulting issues. The methodology employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, utilizing observation and in-depth interviews with the store owner and customers for data collection. The findings indicate that the installment sales practice fulfills the general pillars of Islamic trade, such as ‘aqidain (parties) and sighat (offer and acceptance), but fails to meet the essential murabahah condition of disclosing the original cost price. The owner does not itemize the cost but sets a final total sale price, causing the contract to substantively shift to an ordinary deferred payment sale (bai' bitsaman ajil). This non-compliance is implicitly mitigated through setting a reasonable profit margin to maintain customer satisfaction (ridha). The study concludes that the practice is not kaffah (perfect) as murabahah. The research contributes empirical insight into the implementation gap of murabahah at the MSME level and offers recommendations for achieving full Sharia compliance.
