Abstract

Artikel ini membahas sinergi antara Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) dan pendidikan Islam di perguruan tinggi sebagai upaya strategis untuk mendukung keberlanjutan global. Pendidikan Islam, dengan nilai-nilai universal seperti keadilan sosial, pelestarian lingkungan, dan kesejahteraan umat, memiliki relevansi kuat dengan tujuan-tujuan SDGs, seperti penghapusan kemiskinan, pendidikan berkualitas, kesetaraan gender, serta aksi terhadap perubahan iklim. Perguruan tinggi Islam berperan strategis dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dan pendekatan modern guna mencetak generasi yang intelek dan peduli terhadap keberlanjutan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi peran perguruan tinggi Islam dalam mendukung SDGs melalui integrasi kurikulum, penelitian berbasis keberlanjutan, program pemberdayaan masyarakat, serta kolaborasi internasional. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi kurangnya pemahaman tentang SDGs, keterbatasan dana, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan. Sebagai solusinya, artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan kurikulum berbasis nilai Islam, inovasi pendidikan, dan kerja sama lintas sektor untuk mengoptimalkan peran perguruan tinggi Islam. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengintegrasian SDGs ke dalam pendidikan Islam dapat memperkaya kurikulum dan program pengabdian masyarakat, sekaligus membentuk generasi yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki kesadaran tinggi terhadap keberlanjutan global. Sinergi ini diharapkan menjadi langkah strategis untuk masa depan yang lebih adil, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. Islamic higher education institutions play a strategic role in integrating Islamic values with modern approaches to produce intellectual and sustainability-conscious generations. This article explores the role of Islamic higher education institutions in supporting the SDGs through curriculum integration, sustainability-based research, community empowerment programs, and international collaborations. Challenges include limited understanding of SDGs, funding constraints, and resistance to change. As solutions, this article recommends strengthening curricula rooted in Islamic values, educational innovations, and cross-sector collaboration to optimize the role of Islamic higher education institutions. The analysis reveals that integrating SDGs into Islamic education can enrich curricula and community service programs while shaping generations that are not only intellectually competent but also highly aware of global sustainability. This synergy is expected to serve as a strategic step toward a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's role in instilling Islamic values in students in full day school and Islamic boarding school based elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study are that the teacher plays an important role in instilling Islamic values in students because a teacher is assigned to not only teach and provide values but is also responsible for forming the noble character of students so that they have personalities and behaviors that are in accordance with Islamic values. Instilling Islamic values of students in Full Day School-Based Elementary Schools & Islamic Boarding School Systems, namely SD Al-Qur'an Minhajuth Thullab Pekalongan, East Lampung Regency through religious activities including: habituation in midday and afternoon prayers in congregation, dhuha prayer, habituation through typical pesantren curriculum programs, faith and piety building nights, and so on.
