Abstract

AbstractOne type of skill that students must have in order to compete in progress is computational thinking. This research aims to analyze students' computational thinking abilities on SPLTV material, self-regulated learning students, and computational thinking abilities in view self-regulated learning. This method used was survey research. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique with a total of 112 students at one of the high schools in Depok in the academic year 2023/2024. The instrument used consisted of a test instrument of 12 description questions to measure students computational thinking ability. In addition, self-regulated learning questionnaire consisting of 17 statements and a semi-structured interview consisting of 5 questions. The two instruments used have been tested for validation and reliability. The research showed that students' mathematical computational thinking ability in solving contextual problems was in the low category, self-regulated learning students is in the high category. Between self-regulated learning has no relationship or influence on students' mathematical computational thinking ability in solving contextual problems.AbstrakSalah satu jenis keterampilan yang harus dimiliki siswa agar dapat bersaing dalam kemajuan salah satunya dengan kemampuan berpikir komputasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa pada materi SPLTV, kemandirian belajar yang dimiliki siswa, serta kemampuan berpikir komputasional ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian survei. Sampel diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 112 siswa di salah satu SMA di Depok tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari instrument tes sebanyak 12 butir soal uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir komputasional siswa. Selain itu, angket kemandirian belajar yang terdiri dari 17 pernyataan serta wawancara semi-terstruktur yang terdiri dari 5 pertanyaan. Kedua intrumen yang digunakan sudah diuji validasitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan kemampuan berpikir komputasional matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual berada pada kategori rendah, kemandirian belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Antara kemandirian belajar tidak memiliki hubungan atau pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasional matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual.

Abstract

AbstractMathematical computational thinking ability is one of the mathematics competencies contained in the independent curriculum. This research aims to analyze qualitative studies on mathematical computational thinking skills conducted starting in 2019. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), and the analysis used the PRISMA Protocol (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocol). 18 articles were reviewed in this study. All articles used were indexed by Sinta and Scopus and taken from Google Scholar, Scopus, and Garuda. The analysis shows that teachers can use approaches and learning models or develop teaching materials to improve students' mathematical computational thinking skills. This can help teachers in improving students' computational thinking skills. Computational thinking skills can be developed in learning mathematics on materials such as number patterns, building space, number operations, and materials in lectures such as abstract algebra. Abstrak Kemampuan berpikir komputasional matematis merupakan salah satu kompetensi matematika yang termuat dalam kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis studi-studi kualitatif tentang kemampuan berpikir komputasional matematis yang dilakukan mulai tahun 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan analisis yang digunakan PRISMA Protocol (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocol). Terdapat 18 artikel yang dikaji pada studi ini. Semua artikel yang digunakan terindeks Sinta dan Scopus yang diambil dari Google Scholar, Scopus, dan Garuda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir komputasional matematis siswa guru dapat memilih menggunakan pendekatan, model pembelajaran, maupun mengembangkan bahan ajar. Hal ini dapat membantu guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir komputasional siswa. Kemampuan berpikir komputasional dapat dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi seperti pola bilangan, bangun ruang, operasi bilangan, dan materi dalam perkuliahan seperti aljabar abstrak.

Abstract

Designing instruction in a structured manner is essential to ensure that the learning process is effective, focused, and aligned with the needs of the learners.. This article aims to develop a learning design on the topic of SPLDV to improve computational thinking skills in junior high school students in East Jakarta City. This research is part of the instructional design of the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the ADDIE development model, this research is limited to the design stage. The previous steps were developed through an instructional design that carried out a needs analysis in which classroom observations and needs interviews were conducted. The needs analysis was conducted on a class VIII in a junior high school in East Jakarta City with a total of 30 participants. Apart from the needs analysis to the learners, an interview was also conducted with one mathematics teacher at the school. Through the process of analyzing the needs obtained, a learning design has been formed and will be applied to further learning. The results of the discussion have been obtained to improve the process of computational thinking ability on SPLDV material can use the discovery learning model.
