Abstract

Kota Malang, yang terletak di Provinsi Jawa Timur menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata terpopuler di Indonesia dengan kekayaan alam, budaya, dan sejarah yang melimpah. pertumbuhan industri pariwisata di Malang telah mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan sehingga terjadi persaingan antara perusahaan tour dan travel di Malang, salah satunya Tour dan Travel Dolan Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini agar Tour dan Travel Dolan Malang memiliki visual identity yang kuat sehingga dapat menjadi pembeda dengan para kompetitornya. Metode yang digunakan adalah model perancangan milik Amy Arntson, yaitu 6 proses desain. Setelah melakukan riset segementasi, targeting, dan positioning sehingga dibentuklah logo yang memiliki studi bentuk dan studi warna yang dapat menjadi presentasi dari Tour dan Travel Dolan Malang. Diharapkan Logo menjadi identitas visual perusahaan dan media promosi yang dibuat dapat menaikan omzet perusahaan. Kata Kunci: Visual Identity, Tour dan Travel, Kota Malang, Media Promosi

Abstract

Pelanusa is a community in Malang that focuses on crafts and community empowerment. However, from the many activities carried out by this community, there are still many people who do not know about the Pelanusa community and also ineffective promotional media. This research aims to design illustrations on Pelanusa community merchandise as a promotional medium to introduce the values and identity of the community to the wider community. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews and observations and the use of the Design Thinking method which consists of the Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test stages. The results showed that the merchandise successfully attracted the attention of the community, as evidenced by the positive response during the community exhibition at Kebun Winih, Singosari. Visitors were interested in buying merchandise because of its creative design and relevance to the identity of Pelanusa Community. In addition to being a product, this merchandise serves as an effective visual promotional medium, because its use by the community indirectly introduces the community to a wider audience. This research concludes that designing merchandise illustrations can be an effective promotional strategy, while strengthening the image and values of the community.

Abstract

Purpose: Profile videos as promotional media can be utilized across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, portfolios, YouTube, presentations, marketing initiatives, events, and webinars. This promotional material is crucial for enhancing sales and motivating people to make purchases. When utilized effectively, promotional media can enhance a company's exposure and appeal, positively influencing sales. Method: The process consists of three stages: pre-production, which involves conducting a SWOT analysis, brainstorming concepts, and creating storyboards. The production step involves video editing, followed by the post-production stage, which entails releasing the video on social media. Practical Applications: The anticipated outcomes of producing a profile video include a substantial enhancement in brand awareness, the engagement of the target audience, and the cultivation of stronger customer relationships through the effective communication of the company's vision, mission, and values, thereby fostering conversions and increased loyalty in the future. Conclusion: This profile video functions to promote the shop through publications on social media such as websites, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Choosing a strategy for using profile videos can function as promotional media on various online platforms in the current digital era, in order to increase company visibility and have a positive impact on company sales and revenues.

Abstract

In this digital era, visual communication has become an inseparable element in conveying messages and artistic expression. One of the forms of expression can be found in mural art. In Indonesia, mural art has developed very rapidly, so many mural studios have sprung up to offer mural-making services, one of which is Imaginer House mural studio in Malang City. The mural in Wow Ponorogo café by Imaginer House Studio is not only a visual decoration, but also creates a unique atmosphere and illustrates the values and concepts that want to be conveyed, so a research is conducted to analyze the visual communication. The method used is qualitative method with descriptive research. To find out the meaning using Barthes' simeotics theory. This analysis is done in order to know about visual communication such as themes, meanings, and design principles that exist in the Wow Ponorogo café mural.
