ABSTRACTThis study examines the success of organic fertilizer implementation on food crops in Tampo Village, Tallunglipu District, the location of the Thematic Community Service Program (KKN-T) of the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja. Using a mixed research method, this study involved local residents through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and quantitative surveys. The results showed that the adoption rate of organic fertilizer reached 65%, with a 20% increase in crop yields. Key success factors included support from the village government, intensive training, and increased environmental awareness. Key challenges included the availability of raw materials, longer preparation time, and perceptions of lower short-term results. This study revealed that the implementation of organic fertilizer in Tampo Village showed significant potential in improving the sustainability of local agriculture, but required a holistic approach to overcome existing obstacles.Keywords: Organic fertilizer, food crops, sustainable agriculture, technology adoption, Toraja, KKN-TABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji keberhasilan implementasi pupuk organik pada tanaman pangan di Kelurahan Tampo, Kecamatan Tallunglipu, lokasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKN-T) Universitas Kristen Indonesia Toraja. Menggunakan metode penelitian campuran, studi ini melibatkan warga lokal melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan survei kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan tingkat adopsi pupuk organik mencapai 65%, dengan peningkatan hasil panen sebesar 20%. Faktor-faktor kunci keberhasilan meliputi dukungan pemerintah kelurahan, pelatihan intensif, dan meningkatnya kesadaran lingkungan. Tantangan utama mencakup ketersediaan bahan baku, waktu persiapan yang lebih lama, dan persepsi hasil jangka pendek yang lebih rendah. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa implementasi pupuk organik di Kelurahan Tampo menunjukkan potensi signifikan dalam meningkatkan keberlanjutan pertanian lokal, namun memerlukan pendekatan holistik untuk mengatasi hambatan yang ada.Kata Kunci: Pupuk organik, tanaman pangan, pertanian berkelanjutan, adopsi teknologi, Toraja, KKN-T
