Abstract

This study aims to examine the educational communication strategies employed by a single educational institution to enhance its competitiveness in the era of globalization and technological transformation. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis at one school in the Gending sub-district. The study's participants included the school principal, teachers, and parents. The findings reveal that the integration of digital technology, the strengthening of institutional branding, and multi-stakeholder collaboration play pivotal roles in fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders and enhancing the institution's positive image. The study underscores the importance of adopting more holistic and adaptive communication strategies to enable educational institutions to remain competitive on a global scale. Additionally, the findings offer valuable insights for education managers in developing communication strategies that are both effective and sustainable in the face of globalization’s challenges.

Abstract

This research explores the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model strategy in Arabic extracurricular programs at the Arabic Language Development Institute (LPBA) in Islamic boarding schools. This research aims to improve diverse and responsive learning approaches to increase the effectiveness of these extracurricular programs. Using a qualitative case study approach, data was collected through interviews, observation and document analysis, analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, restatement and drawing conclusions. These findings highlight the strategy of implementing TAI in the LPBA extracurricular program, which results in improved student learning outcomes and achievements. This approach effectively addresses the needs and potential of students, but needs to be adapted to more personal needs. This study contributes to the literature by providing insight into relevant educational practices in the context of Arabic language learning, emphasizing the importance of adapted teaching methods in increasing santri engagement and achievement in extracurricular programs at Islamic boarding schools
