Abstract

German beach is one of the tourist attractions that is currently a tourist location that is visited by local and foreign tourists. Tourism is an attraction for tourists who visit German Beach. The problems faced in this study are the use of beach facilities, hygiene problems that are not well considered by tourists and the role of stakeholders in tourism development at German Beach has not been maximally implemented in accordance with the main objectives. Types of data and data sources, namely qualitative data Primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. In the implementation of the German Beach development strategy as a tourist attraction that applies Green Tourism principles that lead to environmental preservation. With the condition of German Beach which is environmentally friendly still tends to be natural, the application of the principle of environmental preservation must involve local communities, governments, entrepreneurs and visiting tourists. The government, regions and villages, are obliged to issue policies on the environment, management around German Beach based on the principle of sustainability, the community, entrepreneurs and tourists participate in supervising its implementation and are directly involved in preserving the environment around Kelan Beach.

Abstract

Bali's tourism sector is facing increasing competition, underscoring the need for empirical insights into tourist loyalty within heritage accommodations to support sustainability and cultural preservation. This study explores the influence of brand attributes and travel motivation on tourist loyalty, with service quality as a mediating factor, using Inna Group Bali’s heritage hotels as a case. A sequential mixed-methods approach was used, combining 400 survey responses analyzed through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with qualitative data from in-depth interviews. The results reveal that brand associations and pull motivation are key drivers of loyalty. Service quality fully mediates the effects of motivation and satisfaction. The proposed BHALIDEL model shows that combining architectural authenticity with modern service standards creates a competitive advantage. Recommendations include (1) partnering with heritage bodies to institutionalize conservation, (2) training staff in cultural intelligence, (3) curating thematic experiences with digital storytelling, and (4) applying adaptive reuse technologies to maintain heritage aesthetics while improving efficiency.

Abstract

Penerapan pajak karbon merupakan salah satu strategi kunci dalam mendukung transisi Indonesia menuju ekonomi yang lebih berkelanjutan. Kebijakan ini menjadi semakin mendesak karena peningkatan emisi gas rumah kaca yang terus terjadi, yang berkontribusi terhadap perubahan iklim global. Indonesia sendiri telah menetapkan komitmen ambisius untuk mencapai Net Zero Emission (NZE) pada tahun 2060, sehingga pajak karbon dipandang sebagai instrumen fiskal yang strategis untuk menekan emisi sekaligus mendorong transformasi menuju energi bersih dan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi urgensi penerapan pajak karbon, menilai tingkat kesiapan sektor terdampak, serta meninjau implikasinya terhadap penerimaan pajak negara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif, dengan pendekatan wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumentasi, sehingga memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai tantangan dan peluang implementasi pajak karbon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa urgensi penerapan pajak karbon sangat tinggi, terutama sebagai alat untuk menginternalisasi biaya lingkungan dari emisi karbon. Namun, kesiapan sektor industri menunjukkan variasi yang signifikan. Banyak perusahaan menghadapi keterbatasan dalam teknologi pengukuran emisi, sistem Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) yang belum optimal, serta perbedaan kemampuan finansial dalam mengadopsi teknologi rendah karbon. Hal ini menandakan perlunya strategi transisi yang adil, termasuk insentif, pendampingan teknis, dan dukungan kebijakan yang jelas. Kemudian pajak karbon memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan penerimaan pajak negara, meskipun kontribusinya cenderung fluktuatif dan tidak menjadi tolok ukur utama keberhasilan kebijakan ini. Secara keseluruhan, efektivitas pajak karbon sangat bergantung pada kesiapan regulasi, koordinasi antar-kelembagaan, serta dukungan yang memastikan adaptasi dunia usaha berjalan lancar tanpa menimbulkan beban sosial-ekonomi yang berlebihan.
