Abstract

This study is an experiment that aims to increase student motivation through the implementation of a differentiation learning model in physical fitness courses. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Makassar State University with a sample size of 37 students. The sampling technique was carried out using a random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out using a motivation questionnaire with a Crinbach's Alpha reliability value of 0.960. The questions consisted of 20 items with 5 (five) answer choices. The data analysis technique was carried out using the t-test and the N-Gain test which aimed to determine the extent to which the implementation of the differentiation learning model was effective in increasing student motivation in following the lecture process. Based on the results of the effectiveness test, the maximum value was 89.29; the minimum value was 52.63; and the average value was 75.6. Based on these average values, it can be concluded that the implementation of the differentiation learning model is quite effective in increasing student learning motivation in physical fitness lectures.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. This approach was chosen to determine the level of students' understanding of stress management and its impact on mental health. This study was conducted at the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, Makassar State University, with 50 active students as research subjects. The selection of respondents was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, where the main criteria set were active students who were willing to be respondents and did not have a history of severe mental disorders medically. The main instrument in this study was a closed questionnaire compiled based on indicators of understanding stress management and the impact of stress on students' mental conditions. Each item on the questionnaire used a Likert scale with 5 (five) answer choices. The results of the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test with a value of 0.951. The data analysis technique was carried out using a descriptive test which was then categorized using a category table. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the level of understanding of students in the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, Makassar State University is in the moderate category. Abstract

This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the aim of understanding and describing how lecturers utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) in managing materials and assignments in physical education courses. This research was conducted at the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, Faculty of Sport Science, Makassar State University. The main instrument in this study was the researcher himself who acted as a data collector and analyst. In addition, interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation recording formats were used as tools in data collection. Based on the results of the interview, the use of LMS in physical education has provided many benefits, especially in terms of managing materials and assignments. However, practical learning still requires further innovation to ensure that a holistic learning experience can be achieved. Therefore, the integration of LMS with other learning methods, such as blended learning, can be a potential solution to improve the effectiveness of physical education learning in the future.

Abstract

This study uses an experimental method that aims to determine the impact of using animated videos on students' understanding of the concept of motion dynamics in biomechanics courses. The research design used is a two-group pre-test and post-test design. The data collection technique is carried out by testing students' knowledge in the material of the concept of motion dynamics in biomechanics courses. The sample in this study was 2 classes determined by the simple random sampling technique. The number of samples from each class was 42 people for the experimental class and 40 people for the control class. The data analysis technique was carried out using the independent sample T test. The form of treatment carried out was by providing students with a learning model that utilized animated video media for 4 meetings in the material of the concept of motion dynamics in biomechanics courses. The results of the hypothesis test in the table above show a Sig. value of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be said that there is a difference between the data from the experimental group and the control group. Furthermore, the mean value of the experimental group is 92 and the mean value of the control group is 89, so the mean difference between the experimental and control groups is 3. So it can be concluded that the use of animated videos has an effect on increasing students' understanding of the concept of motion dynamics in biomechanics.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi siswa sekolah luar biasa di Kota Makasar dalam mengikuti pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 23 siswa sekolah luar biasa Kota Makassar. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 23 siswa dari sekolah luar biasa tersebut. Para siswa ini diberikan angket yang didampingi oleh guru dan orang tua untuk menilai motivasi belajar mereka. Data dianalisis melalui perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani berada pada tingkat sedang yaitu sebesar 39,1% dari motivasi belajar. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat motivasi siswa dalam pendidikan jasmani berada pada kategori “sedang”. Motivasi siswa dapat ditingkatkan apabila guru menyampaikan materi secara efektif dan menarik, serta memasukkan kegiatan pembelajaran dalam bentuk permainan untuk mencegah kebosanan siswa selama proses pembelajaran.
