Abstract

This paper will discuss the understanding of Indonesia's policies in Cyber Security, in terms of technical aspects and social effects. Where the era of digital transformation raises new risks and threats, namely Cyber Security. It is important for the government, as executor and supervisor, to identify potential risks and threats to ensure cyber security and efforts to build community digital literacy during the digital transformation era. The efficiency of the measures developed and implemented to minimize risks and eliminate threats to national cybersecurity depend on the quality and appropriateness of the implemented policies. From the research results found that a comprehensive approach to analyzing the risks and threats posed by cyber threats in the era of digital transformation is needed and must cover all related processes, both technical and non-technical, in particular the relations between the actors involved. This creates significant opportunities and challenges for Indonesia's future, especially in matters of national defense security from hacking threats and other cyber problems

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and compare the technical performance of the Linux Mint 21.3 operating system with Windows 11 in the context of desktop use at PT Tatalogam Lestari. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a comparative experimental design. Measured parameters include CPU usage, RAM, boot time, and software compatibility. Results show Linux Mint is more efficient in resource use and boot speed, while Windows 11 excels in business software compatibility. In-depth interviews revealed that Linux Mint is well accepted by users although it requires an adaptation period. In conclusion, Linux Mint can be an efficient solution for specific divisions that do not depend on Windows-only software, provided that training and technical assistance are available.

Abstract

Digital Korlantas POLRI is an application released on April 13, 2021 by Korlantas POLRI. This application aims to provide SIM extension services to the public digitally. This application has reached more than 5 million downloads, with 102 thousand reviews and a rating of 3.7. The reviews include a variety of positive and negative coments. Many users complained about the app’s performance. Therefore, sentiment analysis is needed with the aim of utomatically classifying a person’s sentiments into positive and negative groups. This research uses the Naïve Bayes algorithm as a classification method with a dataset of 1500, consisting of 536 positive sentiment data and 964 negative sentiment data. In a data processing process using data division with a ratio of 80:20, resulting in 1200 training data and 300 test data. The final result of this research is to get accuracy, precision and recall values which aim to evaluate how well the Naïve Bayes algorithm performs in the classification process. The values obtained from the evaluation by using data as much as 300 training data, shows an accuracy value of 70.33%, a precision value of 56.34%, and a recall value of 74.77%. The evalution test results show that the Naïve Bayes algorithm is successful in the classification process.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based information system that simplifies the process for users to search for and access news content online. The study is motivated by the growing need for public information to be disseminated quickly, accurately, and without restrictions of time or location. The system was developed using the WordPress platform and is presented through a website called Koran Pengawas Korupsi (KPK), designed with a responsive interface, intuitive navigation, and an effective search function. The development process employed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using an iterative approach, allowing for flexible and incremental system development based on user feedback. Data collection methods included surveys and interviews to better understand user needs and guide the design of relevant features. The resulting website includes functionalities such as news search, categorization, user comments, and an administrative dashboard for content management. Testing results indicate that most users are satisfied with the user interface, search capabilities, and visual layout. However, suggestions for improvement were noted, including better content relevance and further design enhancements. In conclusion, this study contributes to the development of user-friendly and efficient web-based information systems that support effective news dissemination to the public.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology requires stronger data protection mechanisms for both transmitted and stored information. One approach to enhance data confidentiality and efficiency is the combination of compression and data hiding techniques. This study aims to analyze the application of Huffman compression and Least Significant Bit (LSB) steganography for embedding text messages into digital images without developing a dedicated application. The text data were first compressed using the Huffman algorithm to reduce their size, and the resulting bitstream was embedded into an image using the LSB technique. The results indicate that Huffman compression successfully reduced data size by more than 80%, allowing the embedding process to be more efficient. The LSB method also demonstrated its ability to conceal messages without introducing noticeable visual distortion in the cover image. The combination of these methods provides an efficient data-hiding process while maintaining the visual quality of the media. This study highlights that compression and steganography techniques can serve as a simple yet effective approach for digital data protection.
