Abstract

Abstrak Masjid adalah suatu bangunan tempat beribadah bagi umat islam. Pembangunan masjid dirancang sebaik mungkin mulai dari desain dan strukturnya agar bangunan masjid berdiri kokoh, aman dan nyaman. Perencanaan desain masjid ini direncanakan di Desa Panca Mulya Kecamatan Air Kumbang, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ialah memberikan refrensi sebagai bantuan teknis tekait perencanaan desain Masjid di Desa Panca Mulya. Perencanaan desain masjid ini dilakukan oleh Dosen dan beberapa mahasiswa dari Universitas Indo Global Mandiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ialah metode pendahuluan yaitu survey dilapangan serta sosialisasi kepada perangkat desa dan masyarakat terkait perencanaan desain pembangunan masjid. Perencanaan desain pembangunan masjid ini dimulai dari detail desain gambar atau Detail Engineering Drawing  (DED) yang dilengkapi dengan Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB). Hasil perhitungan dari Rencana Angggaran Biaya (RAB) pada desain masjid Desa Panca Mulya, Kecamatan Air Kumbang, Kabupaten Banyuasin sebesar Rp.2.534.329.616,- Kata kunci: desa panca mulya; DED; masjid;  rab Abstract The mosque is a building of worship for Muslims. The construction of the mosque is designed as well as possible starting from the design and structure so that the mosque building stands firm, safe and comfortable. This mosque design planning is planned in Panca Mulya Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. The purpose of the implementation of Community Service is to provide references as technical assistance regarding mosque design planning in Panca Mulya Village. This mosque design planning was carried out by lecturers and several students from Indo Global Mandiri University. The method used in this community service is the preliminary method, namely field surveys and socialization to village officials and the community regarding mosque construction design planning. The design planning for the construction of this mosque starts from a detailed design drawing or Detail Engineering Drawing (DED) which is equipped with a Cost Budget Plan (RAB). The calculation results of the Cost Budget Plan (RAB) on the design of the Panca Mulya Village mosque, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency amounted to Rp.2,534,329,616,- Keywords: panca mulya village; DED; mosque; RAB

Abstract

Concrete is a composite material widely used due to its high compressive strength and resistance to structural loads. Environmentally friendly concrete innovation can be achieved through the utilization of waste materials, such as sawdust, along with the addition of chemical admixtures to improve performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of sawdust treated through water immersion and oven drying, as well as the addition of Bestmittel admixture, on the workability and compressive strength of concrete. The sawdust variations used were 1 percent, 3 percent, and 5 percent of the cement weight, while Bestmittel was added at 0.5 percent. The research method employed an experimental laboratory approach involving slump tests, absorption tests, and compressive strength tests at 28 days. The results indicate that the variation containing 3 percent oven-dried sawdust provided the optimum performance in terms of both workability and compressive strength. The addition of sawdust above 3 percent tended to reduce compressive strength due to increased porosity. Therefore, the use of sawdust together with Bestmittel in appropriate proportions can improve concrete quality while simultaneously supporting sustainable waste management.
