Abstract

Man's fall into sin resulted in the human soul being vulnerable and fragile. If not addressed immediately, it will cause social problems. Returning something to its original condition is the goal of restoration. Not only God, individual participation is the main key to turning things around. Instead of demanding that circumstances change, what is more important is to change your personal perspective in dealing with problems, and that is personal responsibility. This process is called self-healing. By using intrapersonal communication methods, an individual is able to become the best healer for himself. Reflecting on the experience of a psalmist in Psalm 42, psychological values are implied that can be applied in today's life to reduce psychological illnesses, such as depression. Through an exegetical approach and integrating it with psychology, a coping mechanism can be formulated that can help believers to carry out self-healing, as first aid.

Abstract

Social transformation due to technological advances have changed the way humans relate. Relationships can be developed more easily, cheaper and faster. As a community, the church is "forced" to review whether the methods of educating and coaching in faith that have been implemented so far still meet the needs of contemporary congregations. Through a qualitative method of literature approach, the researchers investigated how the Bible views this matter, and found that closeness of relationships or relations between members is the main indicator in learning and faith formation, as done by the early church. Bringing the church back to its original design as a community of God's family (oikos), by taking advantage of today's technological advances, will make the church a constructive place for educating and coaching in the faith of its members. AbstrakPerubahan sosial akibat kemajuan teknologi telah mengubah cara manusia berelasi juga berasosiasi. Relasi dapat dikembangkan dengan lebih mudah, lebih murah, dan lebih cepat. Sebagai komunitas, gereja “dipaksa” untuk mengkaji ulang kembali, apakah metode pembelajaran dan pembinaan iman yang selama ini diterapkan masih menjawab kebutuhan jemaat kekinian. Melalui metode kualitatif pendekatan kepustakaan, peneliti menyelidiki bagaimana pandangan Alkitab mengenai hal ini, dan menemukan bahwa kedekatan hubungan atau relasi antar-anggota merupakan indikator utama dalam pembelajaran dan pembinaan iman, seperti yang dilakukan oleh jemaat mula-mula. Membawa gereja kembali ke desainnya semula sebagai persekutuan keluarga Allah (oikos), dengan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi sekarang, akan menjadikan gereja sebagai tempat yang konstruktif untuk pembelajaran dan pembinaan iman anggotanya.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Pembinaan, Gereja, Komunitas.
