Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of Emotional Intelligence and Product Innovation on Increasing Competitiveness of MSMEs in East Java. business ethics as a mediating variable. Currently, businesses that have competitive are one of the factors that support the success of a business. Emotional intelligence is the ability possessed by MSME actors in developing their business policies, product innovation is identified as another factor that to influence the improvement of competitiveness for MSMEs. business ethics are considered to mediate the relationship between these variables, in order to strengthen the influence of emotional intelligence and product innovation on increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Respondent data collection to 72 MSME in East Java who the researcher's criteria. Data analysis using SEM The results showed that emotional intelligence and product innovation have a significant influence on increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. Business ethics also proven to act as a mediating variable that strengthens the influence of the two independent variables on increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. This research provides an important contribution to policy development for MSME players in terms of decision making by considering ethical behaviour practices for sustainable business.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the use of conflict management in the view of philosophy as an additional insight in the context of social science and management, where with the right conflict management including by paying attention to philosophical aspects, it will foster new opportunities in achieving goals for organisational development. Through a literature review approach, the results show that the use of conflict management through philosophical views can open up new opportunities for organisational management that are considered to be able to solve conflicts effectively. By understanding conflict and managing it well, organisations can develop dynamically and productively, especially in creating better innovations to achieve common goals.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively explore the dynamics of human resource management (HRM) to develop family businesses in Bantur sub-district, Malang Regency, East Java. Identify the challenges and strategies used in managing human resources in the family business partnership model. This research method uses a qualitative approach by understanding the phenomenon in depth related to the object of research. The results of this study indicate that there is a Human resource management (HRM) in family businesses in the Hong Kong caterpillar cultivation sector in Bantur sub-district, Malang district based on trust in employees, with attention to ethics-based conflict management.This research provides a new contribution regarding in-depth exploration of the dynamics of HRM in micro, small, and medium scale enterprises (MSMEs) in the livestock sector, which has not been widely researched, especially in the context of Human Resource Management (HRM). The practice of HRM using a qualitative approach in a family business with a partnership model produces a deep and complex understanding of its relationship with family values, business structure, and resource management on an MSME scale.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review performance measuring factors in MSMEs in the digital era in Indonesia. The research method uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the design of the PRISMA framework. The data sources used were obtained from various databases of quality scientific publications including emerald, taylor and francis, springerlink, and sciencedirect, with a time span from January 2020 to June 2025. A total of 24 international scientific articles published in the period were analyzed for further identification on the main trends, main topics, and research directions. The results of the study show that the role of digital transformation has become an important factor in shaping the performance of MSMEs in the modern era. The factors that measure the performance of MSMEs are related to entrepreneurial competence, adaptation to technology, innovation ability, and government support. Some of these supporting factors also support resilience and sustainability for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, the success of work achievements for business actors cannot be separated from adequate organizational readiness and resources, as well as good governance. This study contributes academically in the form of a conceptual framework for performance improvement measures for MSMEs, as well as providing recommendations as strategies for micro, small, and medium business actors to increase productivity so that businesses can grow and be sustainable in the digital era.
