Abstract

Training marketing strategies are one way to introduce training institutions to the wider community. With the right targeted training marketing strategy, it can facilitate training institutions in carrying out promotions. This research is qualitative research using a case study aPProach. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. This study aims to identify the various training marketing strategy models employed by UPT BLK Surabaya, along with their strengths and weaknesses. The results of the study concluded that there are many marketing strategy models implemented by UPT BLK Surabaya to market their training programs, including 1) updating Instagram, 2) using the Simple Cak aPPlication, 3) socialization to local communities, 4) socialization to schools, and 5) conducting MTU training. Among these various marketing models, publication through Instagram is the most effective way to expand training information to the wider community.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pengaruh pemberian penghargaan "Best Employee of the Month" terhadap kinerja pegawai di Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Surabaya. BLK Surabaya, sebagai lembaga pemerintah yang fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan tenaga kerja, menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan kinerja pegawainya. Penghargaan "Best Employee of the Month" diterapkan sebagai strategi untuk memotivasi pegawai, dengan harapan dapat memperbaiki kinerja individu dan tim secara keseluruhan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis pengaruh pemberian penghargaan "Best Employee of the Month" terhadap kinerja pegawai di Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian dengan pendekatan survey melalui observasi, wawancara, pembagian kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian pegawai Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Surabaya berjumlah 20 pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh adanya Best Employee of the Month terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Surabaya. Besarnya pengaruh reward terhadap kinerja karyawan pada BLK  yaitu sebesar 71,7% dan sisanya sebesar 28,3% dapat dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Secara parsial hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Variabel Best Employee memiliki nilai p-value (pada kolom Sig.) 0,00  < 0,05 artinya signifikan, sedangkan t hitung 45,569 > dari t tabel 4,414 artinya signifikan. Hal ini berarti bahwa pemberian penghargaan "Best Employee of the Month" berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) Surabaya.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of fostering students’ moral character within the school environment through religious activities, one of which is the Qur’an halaqah. The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation of the Qur’an halaqah activities and their role in shaping students’ character at SMK Islam Al-Amal Surabaya. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the regular implementation of Qur’an halaqah activities is able to provide a positive impact on students’ character, such as improving discipline, politeness, and responsibility. The habituation process carried out in these activities becomes a key factor in shaping students’ behavior. The implications of this study suggest that the Qur’an halaqah can serve as an effective program for developing students’ moral character in schools; therefore, it should be maintained and continuously developed.
