Abstract

This study aims to analyse the feasibility of loan approval for property purchases influenced by marital status and the number of dependents using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. Data were collected from a bank and analyzed using Orange Data Mining software. The results show that the Naïve Bayes algorithm is effective in predicting loan feasibility with an accuracy rate of 80.4%. Other evaluation metrics such as F1 score, precision, and recall also demonstrate good performance, with values of 78.2%, 81.4%, and 80.4% respectively. Although there are some weaknesses in predicting both positive and negative classes with equal accuracy, overall, the Naïve Bayes method remains reliable for this purpose. The implementation of this algorithm using the Orange Data Mining toolkit facilitates the data analysis and visualisation process, providing a clear understanding of the factors influencing loan feasibility for borrowers.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly machine learning and deep learning, has brought significant changes to contemporary scientific practices. AI no longer functions solely as a computational tool, but plays an active role in the production, validation, and evaluation of scientific knowledge through data modelling and probabilistic inference. This development raises fundamental questions in the philosophy of science, particularly regarding the shift in the concept of scientific truth from the paradigm of empirical verification and causal explanation towards an approach based on prediction, mathematical approximation, and the management of uncertainty. This research aims to re-evaluate the status of scientific truth in the age of AI by philosophically analysing the relationship between uncertainty, computational knowledge, and scientific truth claims generated by AI models. The research method used is a qualitative study based on literature review and conceptual analysis of contemporary science and technology philosophy literature. The study results indicate that the integration of AI into scientific practice is driving a shift in the epistemology of science from a verifiative orientation towards a predictive epistemology that emphasises model reliability and instrumental validity. This research concludes that scientific truth in the AI era is more contextual and pragmatic, thus demanding an adaptive, reflective, and interdisciplinary framework for the epistemology of science. Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah di wilayah pedesaan masih menghadapi tantangan rendahnya literasi lingkungan, minimnya teknologi tepat guna, dan tidak adanya model bisnis sirkular yang berkelanjutan. Desa Haurwangi, Kabupaten Cianjur, merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan timbulan sampah tertinggi, yaitu 125,5 juta liter per tahun. Mitra program menghadapi permasalahan utama berupa rendahnya kapasitas pengelolaan sampah berbasis nilai ekonomi, keterbatasan teknologi produksi, serta belum adanya tata kelola usaha yang berkelanjutan, sehingga pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan pemberdayaan partisipatif berbasis teknologi tepat guna, penguatan kapasitas usaha, dan integrasi model ekonomi sirkular. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan keberdayaan kelompok masyarakat melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa mesin peleleh plastik otomatis dan mesin press sampah organik, pengembangan produk eco enzyme, serta pelatihan manajemen dan digitalisasi usaha. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi keberdayaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas produksi mitra produktif sebesar 200–250%, peningkatan literasi digital sebesar 70%, peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat melalui pemilahan sampah rumah tangga (20 KK), serta munculnya unit usaha baru berbasis eco enzyme. Analisis kelayakan finansial menunjukkan ROI mencapai 197%, IRR 72%, payback period 6 bulan untuk mitra produktif, sedangkan SROI mitra sosial mencapai 4,11, yang berarti setiap Rp 1 investasi menghasilkan manfaat sosial Rp 4,1. Program ini terbukti meningkatkan level keberdayaan mitra dari 1,5–2 menjadi 2,8–3, serta menghadirkan model ekonomi sirkular yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain.
