Abstract

The phenomenon of religious stereotypes in educational videos on YouTube has become a worrying issue, especially in the context of early childhood education. With the increasing use of this platform as a learning tool, it is important to explore the negative impacts that may be caused by content that presents biased information. These stereotypes have the potential to influence students' perceptions of religion and create social tensions within the elementary school classroom environment. This study aims to examine the impact of religious stereotypes in educational videos and their implications for students' social interactions in the classroom. In this study, we used a qualitative approach involving video content analysis and in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The results showed that video content containing religious stereotypes contributed to misunderstandings and created tensions among students. Many students reported that they were influenced by the way religion was presented in the videos, which often did not reflect the reality of actual religious practices. These findings emphasize the need for a critical review of educational media content to prevent potential manipulation of information and controversies that can be detrimental to the learning process. In conclusion, this study recommends the development of comprehensive guidelines for evaluating and filtering educational content on YouTube, to ensure more inclusive and accurate representation of religion. This effort is important to build a positive learning environment and support the values of tolerance and interfaith understanding among students

Abstract

This research is motivated by the important role of teachers' professional competence in improving the quality of learning, especially in the development of innovative and contextual learning media. This study aims to describe how teachers at SD Negeri 3 Karangkemojing develop social studies learning media to increase students' understanding and interest in learning. This study uses qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, class observations, and documentation studies, which are analyzed thematically. The results show that even though teachers face limitations in terms of technology and training, they are still able to develop learning media through collaborative strategies, the use of local resources, and the use of simple technology. The conclusion of this study is that the teacher's competence and creativity are the main factors in creating learning media that is interesting, relevant, and contributes to the formation of students' character in accordance with the curriculum. This research is expected to provide implications for elementary school teachers in developing aspects of their professional competence.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun iklim sekolah yang inklusif dan berkeadilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah perempuan berbasis kesetaraan gender dalam membangun iklim sekolah inklusif di MI Ma’arif Kedungwingin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru kelas, dan tenaga kependidikan, sedangkan objek penelitian adalah praktik kepemimpinan transformasional berbasis kesetaraan gender serta iklim sekolah inklusif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi nonpartisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah perempuan di MI Ma’arif Kedungwingin menerapkan kepemimpinan transformasional melalui pembangunan visi bersama, keteladanan, pemberdayaan guru dan tenaga kependidikan, serta pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang berlandaskan prinsip kesetaraan gender. Praktik kepemimpinan tersebut berdampak positif terhadap terbentuknya iklim sekolah inklusif yang ditandai oleh relasi sosial yang harmonis, penerimaan terhadap keberagaman peserta didik, serta budaya sekolah yang menjunjung tinggi nilai saling menghargai dan kerja sama.
