Abstract

Teacher performance is the ability of a teacher to carry out his duties in an educational institution. Transformational leadership is leadership that includes organizational change efforts. Work motivation is a driving force that creates enthusiasm for someone to want to work together to achieve goals. This research is quantitative research, with a survey approach. The population in this study was all 28 teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari. The research sample where all members of the population were sampled was 28 people. For instrument testing, 20 people were carried out at different Madrasah Aliyah. The results of this research show that, partially, transformational leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance by 46.7%. This shows that the better the transformational leadership, the higher the teacher's performance. Work motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance by 52.2%. This shows that the better the work motivation, the higher the teacher's performance. Simultaneously there is a significant influence between transformational leadership and work motivation on teacher performance of 87%, with the obtained value of fcount ˃ ftable (83.392 ˃ 3.34). This shows reject H0 and accept Ha. This means that there is a significant influence between transformational leadership and work motivation simultaneously (simultaneously) on teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari.

Abstract

This research aims to describe, test and analyze the influence of the work environment and compensation on teacher work motivation at the 21 Batang Hari State Junior High School. This type of research is quantitative using a survey approach. To obtain the researched data, researchers took population data, namely all 33 teachers at Batang Hari 21 State Junior High School. The methods used were questionnaires and documentation, then the researchers carried out multiple linear regression analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of this research can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the work environment on teacher work motivation of 55.6%, meaning that the better the work environment at the Batang Hari 21 State Junior High School, the better the teacher's work motivation. There is a significant influence of compensation on teacher work motivation of 43.1%, meaning that if compensation is carried out clearly and appropriately, the teacher's motivation will be even better. This shows that the work environment and compensation both have a significant influence on teacher work motivation by 94.2%. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis which states "The Influence of the Work Environment and Compensation on Teacher Work Motivation" is acceptable.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of work stress and work motivation on the performance of teaching staff simultaneously and partially at the 19 Batang Hari State Junior High School. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this sample is all teaching staff at the Batang Hari 19 State Junior High School with 19 teaching staff as respondents. Data collection uses questionnaires and documentation. The results of this research show that: (1). The effect of work stress on the performance of teaching staff is 54%. Calculating tcount shows that tcount = 3.620 ttable= 1.729, this shows that you reject H0 and accept H1. This means that there is a significant influence between the work stress variable on the performance of an educator. (2). The influence of work motivation on the performance of teaching staff is 44.1%. Calculating tcount with ttable shows that tcount = 2.961 ttable= 1.729, this shows that we reject H0 and accept H1. This means that there is a significant influence between work motivation and the performance of teaching staff. (3). The influence of work stress and work motivation on the performance of teaching staff is 82.9%. Calculating Fcount with Ftable gets Fcount =38.730 Ftable= 3.52, this shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence between work stress and work motivation simultaneously on the performance of teaching staff.
