Abstract

Indonesia has long established cooperative and diplomatic relations with the five FPDA member countries. However, this relationship still arouses a sense of mistrust from all parties with the emergence of issues and tensions in diplomatic relations. The presence and establishment of FPDA itself is also one of the reasons to "balance Indonesia". This is a gap for better cooperation between Indonesia and FPDA member countries. The problem in this study is how the pattern of maritime defense diplomacy cooperation and Indonesia's interests towards FPDA member countries using the theory of maritime defense diplomacy as well as the concept of maritime security and national interests. This research uses qualitative methods in a descriptive-analytical manner. The results of the research that the role of multilateral cooperation in Indonesia's maritime defense diplomacy has been actively prioritized by building a sense of trust (CBM), by implementing 5 patterns of defense diplomacy to FPDA countries, Indonesia's interests in FPDA countries, namely: building FPDA trust in Indonesia, increasing cooperation in the maritime sector, reducing the issue of Papuan separatism, and maintaining ASEAN centrality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji keamanan ekonomi dan kebijakan moneter dalam konteks hiperinflasi di Venezuela selama periode 2019-2021. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor utama yang menyebabkan hiperinflasi, mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap nilai mata uang dan perekonomian domestik, serta menggali konsekuensi sosial yang timbul. Data diperoleh melalui analisis dokumen resmi dan tinjauan literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan moneter yang tidak efektif, penurunan harga minyak global, serta sanksi internasional merupakan penyebab utama hiperinflasi. Dampak dari hiperinflasi termasuk depresiasi ekstrem bolívar, kenaikan harga barang-barang kebutuhan pokok, serta peningkatan kemiskinan dan kelaparan. Selain itu, hiperinflasi menyebabkan migrasi massal dan keruntuhan layanan publik, seperti kesehatan dan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya reformasi ekonomi dan kebijakan moneter yang komprehensif serta stabilitas politik untuk memulihkan keamanan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan sosial di Venezuela.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to carry out an in-depth investigation on the social and economic effects that carbon trading schemes have had on East Asian nations of various kinds. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of carbon trading programs in East Asian countries by employing a comparative analysis. The study's primary objectives are to comprehend the variations in outcomes that occur across different countries and to find the most successful methods for carbon trading. An approach known as case study research is utilized in this study in order to promote a more nuanced understanding of the social and economic implications that carbon trading regimes have in a variety of settings. In order to evaluate the social ramifications of carbon trading, qualitative data will be collected, which will include community perspectives, environmental justice issues, and societal changes. Additionally, economic metrics such as gross domestic product, employment rates, and industrial growth will be studied. For the purpose of formulating climate policies that are more effective, equitable, and environmentally sustainable, the findings of the study can provide policymakers with significant insights. The paper also makes recommendations for future research directions, such as conducting longitudinal studies to evaluate the long-term social and economic repercussions of carbon trading programs, investigating the implications of carbon trading across different sectors, and incorporating the perspectives of stakeholders into future research. According to the findings of the study, carbon trading programs have major economic and social consequences. These programs include the creation of economic incentives for businesses or governments to reduce carbon emissions in an efficient manner, as well as the promotion of a societal atmosphere that is sympathetic to sustainable practices.
