Abstract

The level of difficulty faced by parents in a family is when there are one or two things that are very difficult for them to face for a long period of time and it is even uncertain how long the problem can be resolved. Parents will find a way with all their abilities and strengths to overcome this, or try to make it easier to overcome it, this is a problem related to the child they love. Sometimes the attitude of parents is all wrong because in addition to having to handle the child, it is also related to their good name and self-esteem, they also have to work hard to get the greatest income possible, the purpose of which is to take care of their child throughout the child's life from childhood to adulthood, this problem concerns the condition of children who have abnormalities or special needs called Spastic Cerebral Palsy, namely awkward reflexes, contractures (muscles or joints that are permanently tense), difficulty crawling and walking, stiff muscles in one or more parts of the body. The author conducted research with a qualitative descriptive approach, and from various sources of health knowledge, books and journals and their relationship to theology related to the problem, so that it will answer this problem and become a basis for Christians to respond correctly according to the teachings of the Word of God.

Abstract

Worry is a form of erratic anxiety, even if it happens in an exaggerated mind, it will not necessarily happen. Every human being has a sense of worry as a feeling of protection for what has not yet happened in front of him. Worries can take the form of job loss, stalled business in life, expensive education costs, a near-stalled economy, labor layoffs, children fighting parents, cheating husbands, wives leaving the house, having children with special needs, anxiety about the future, and any form of difficulty, all of which cause stress, suffering, and other difficulties in life.In this journal, the author makes research in a qualitative explanation, coming from various book sources, various journals related to psychology, counseling and it is hoped that this journal will obtain research results that can answer various problems regarding concerns experienced for Christians, so that they can respond correctly to the truth of God's Word.

Abstract

Mental disorders are serious problems that affect many individuals across the world. Poor mental health is often a major risk factor in a person's good name. In an effort to improve the family name, efforts to improve mental problems are always sought by the family. Mental health is an important key that is the center of attention. This study aims to examine the role of mental health as a prevention factor from the worsening condition of schizophrenia patients from the perspective of pastoral counseling. In this study, the pastoral counseling approach is used as a framework to analyze how preventive efforts in the field of mental health can be assisted through the process of mentoring and pastoral counseling support. This approach justifies the complexity of the individual as a being that has spiritual, social, emotional, and physical dimensions. In pastoral counseling, it is important to understand and appreciate the diversity of individuals in order to assess a situation without having to judge. Through pastoral counseling techniques, efforts can be made more familiar because the counselor uses the best way to examine the patient's circumstances and environment and family, while providing emotional support. as well as conducive guidance between counselors and counselors. In the process of pastoral counseling, counselors pay attention to aspects of mental health change and in a holistic way integrate theological understanding and counseling. This research makes an important contribution in helping the role of pastoral counseling in suppressing the increase in bipolar symptoms.

Abstract

Man is the most perfect creature created by God among all the geniuses of living beings in this world, and God equips man with intelligence, morality and noble ethics, as well as a high culture as a sign that man is truly a creature that God has chosen as God's partner in this world, but sometimes man is born with some shortcomings such as abnormalities, Mental or physical, there are those who are physically good and perfect but mentally imperfect, there are also those who are physically imperfect but have a good and beautiful attitude. Some are born with a type of mental disorder or psychiatric disorder, although not always connate, sometimes it is an environmental influence that is formed from childhood or on the way to adulthood there are certain pressures that really affect, feelings, thoughts and thoughts that are increasingly shifting and shaping certain behaviors of a person. Mental disorders can really cause problems in life day after day. Some common types of mental disorders such as anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, personality disorders, stress, and other mental disorders are caused by various factors such as suffering from certain illnesses, stress due to traumatic events, the death of a loved one, loss of a job, or being isolated for a long time, as well as genetic factors inherited from parents, or environmental influences, such as disharmonious family or experiencing economic difficulties, in this case the author highlights a type of mental disorder known as Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) where people with this mental disorder feel that only themselves are more important than others, so that anyone in their environment must admire or adore them. Very often people with NPD do not realize that they are the ones who have mental disorders and respond to others poorly.
