Abstract

Pastoral assistance provision is an effort to fulfill counselee needs by using religious resources. Family with children who have autism indicated paralysis in addition to stigma and suffering. Based on this reality, and the need for spiritual approach, giving reinforcement and changing old to new perspective correctly can foster hope for the family especially the parent. Indeed, when parents experience enlightenment in the form of the truth of Jesus 'words that arouse the parents' faith, change will occur significantly. Method used in this research is qualitative. The results of the study provide a concrete picture such as Jabez and women who experienced bleeding for 12 years. By the grace of the Lord Jesus, suffering is transformed into a calm soul and joy for being restored. Counseling pastoral approach reflects religious intervention, namely the truth of Christ and the power of His Word into the context of the reality of the parents' lives of autistic children.Pemberian pendampingan pastoral merupakan upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan konseli dengan menggunakan sumber-sumber religius. Keluarga dengan anak yang mengalami autistic terindikasi mengalami kelumpuhan selain stigma dan penderitaan. Atas dasar kenyataan ini, dan perlunya pendekatan spiritual, maka pemberian penguatan dan pengubahan perspektif lama kepada perspektif baru dengan benar dapat menumbuhkan asa bagi keluarga terutama orangtua anak. Sejatinya ketika orangtua mengalami pencerahan berupa kebenaran perkataan Yesus yang membangkitkan iman orangtua, perubahan akan terjadi secara signifikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif. Hasil kajian memberikan gambaran konkritnya seperti Yabes dan perempuan yang mengalami pendarahan selama 12 tahun. Oleh anugerah Tuhan Yesus, penderitaan diubahkan menjadi ketenangan jiwa dan sukacita karena dipulihkan. Pendekatan pastoral konseling mencerminkan intervensi religious, yakni kebenaran Kristus dan kuasa Firman-Nya ke dalam konteks realita hidup orangtua anak yang terkena autistic.

Abstract

Mental disorders are serious problems that affect many individuals across the world. Poor mental health is often a major risk factor in a person's good name. In an effort to improve the family name, efforts to improve mental problems are always sought by the family. Mental health is an important key that is the center of attention. This study aims to examine the role of mental health as a prevention factor from the worsening condition of schizophrenia patients from the perspective of pastoral counseling. In this study, the pastoral counseling approach is used as a framework to analyze how preventive efforts in the field of mental health can be assisted through the process of mentoring and pastoral counseling support. This approach justifies the complexity of the individual as a being that has spiritual, social, emotional, and physical dimensions. In pastoral counseling, it is important to understand and appreciate the diversity of individuals in order to assess a situation without having to judge. Through pastoral counseling techniques, efforts can be made more familiar because the counselor uses the best way to examine the patient's circumstances and environment and family, while providing emotional support. as well as conducive guidance between counselors and counselors. In the process of pastoral counseling, counselors pay attention to aspects of mental health change and in a holistic way integrate theological understanding and counseling. This research makes an important contribution in helping the role of pastoral counseling in suppressing the increase in bipolar symptoms.

Abstract

Abstract: Evangelism must be done correctly and peacefully to its listeners. To realize this, an effective strategy is needed so that the gospel is delivered without debate with different beliefs. The apostle Paul, a highly educated, insightful, and communicative Pharisee, was chosen by God to spread the gospel to the Gentiles. In his mission, Paul preached the gospel to Athens, a place where scholars and various fisuf sects were born. The purpose of writing this article is to provide insight to Christians on how to conduct effective evangelism in communities that have different religions or creeds. The method used in this writing is qualitative-descriptive with a scientific review of the literature. The findings in this article describe that Paul conveyed the gospel message through an inscription seen on an altar of idolatry. This opportunity was used by Paul to introduce the philosophers of Jesus Christ and how to worship the true God. As a result, some members of the Areopagus Court joined him and believed in Jesus. What Paul did was part of an evangelistic strategy that was applicable in the field in carrying out the mission of the Great Commission. Abstrak: Penginjilan harus dilakukan secara benar dan damai kepada para pendengarnya. Untuk merealisasikan hal itu, diperlukan strategi yang efektif agar injil tersampaikan tanpa perdebatan dengan kepercayaan yang berbeda. Rasul Paulus, seorang Farisi yang memiliki latar pendidikan yang tinggi, berwawasan luas, dan komunikatif dipilih Tuhan untuk menyebarkan Injil ke bangsa-bangsa non-Yahudi. Dalam misinya, Paulus mengabarkan Injil ke Athena, sebuah tempat dimana kaum terpelajar dan berbagai aliran fisuf dilahirkan. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan wawasan kepada orang Kristen dalam melakukan penginjilan yang efektif pada masyarakat yang memiliki agama atau aliran kepercayaan yang berbeda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah kualitatif-deskriptif dengan kajian ilmiah literatur. Temuan dalam artikel ini menguraikan bahwa Paulus menyampaikan pesan Injil melalui sebuah tulisan yang dilihat pada sebuah mezbah penyembahan berhala. Kesempatan ini dipakai Paulus untuk mengenalkan tentang Yesus Kristus dan bagaimana menyembah kepada Allah yang benar kepada para filsuf aliran epikurios dan stoa. Dampaknya adanya beberapa anggota Mahkamah Areopagus yang menggabungkan diri dengannya dan percaya kepada Yesus. Apa yang dilakukan Paulus bagian dari strategi penginjilan yang aplikatif di lapangan dalam menjalankan misi Amanat Agung.
