Abstract

Data WHO pada tahun 2023 menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 280 juta orang di seluruh dunia mengalami depresi. Diperkirakan sekitar 3.7% orang dari populasi di Indonesia dinyatakan menderita depresi. Dilansir dari Databoks, Jawa Timur tercatat memiliki angka depresi sebesar 4.5%, mendekati provinsi dengan angka depresi tertinggi di Indonesia. Berdasar dari beberapa studi terdahulu, salah satu faktor penyebab depresi pada individu dewasa adalah Adverse Childhood Experiences. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Adverse Childhood Experiences terhadap kecenderungan depresi pada individu dewasa awal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah individu dewasa awal berjumlah 106 subjek yang pernah mengalami Adverse Childhood Experiences dan berdomisili di Jawa Timur, subjek diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala Adverse Childhood Experiences Scale dan skala Beck Depression Inventory II. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan Uji Regresi Linier Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Adverse Childhood Experiences berkontribusi positif secara signifikan terhadap kecenderungan depresi pada dewasa awal sebesar 14.8%. Semakin tinggi Adverse Childhood Experiences, maka semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan depresi. Selain itu, dimensi kekerasan berkontribusi positif sebesar 12.5%, sedangkan dimensi disfungsi keluarga berkontribusi positif sebesar 7.8% terhadap kecenderungan depresi pada dewasa awal.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to describe the implementation of reward and punishment strategies in improving students’ discipline in performing congregational qiyamullail prayer at Integrated Islamic Junior High School Insan Mandiri Greenville boarding school. Methodology: This study employed a qualitative method using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Data were collected through structured observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The participants consisted of boarding students, dormitory head, worship coordinator, and teachers, selected using purposive sampling technique. Main Findings: The results indicate that reward and punishment effectively improved students’ discipline in congregational qiyamullail prayer. Participation increased by 18.75% through verbal appreciation, 27.1% with simple material rewards, 43.75% through religious reprimands, and reached 95% after strengthened punishment involving cleaning duties. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study offers empirical evidence on the structured application of reward and punishment within Islamic boarding school worship activities using a PAR approach, highlighting a progressive and educational disciplinary model that integrates spiritual development with behavioral reinforcement strategies.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The main objective of this study is to describe how teachers of Islamic Religious Education perceive the concepts of reward and punishment, how they understand their educational functions, and how they implement these strategies effectively in Islamic Religious Education learning processes at vocational high schools that are integrated with Islamic boarding schools and their moral values. Methodology: This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using a field study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and key informants, classroom observations, and document analysis. The analytical framework was based on Skinner’s operant conditioning theory, including positive and negative reinforcement and punishment types I and II, to interpret teachers’ perceptions and educational practices within Islamic learning contexts. Main Findings: The findings indicate that teachers of Islamic Religious Education generally hold positive perceptions of reward and punishment in the learning process. Reward is considered an effective positive reinforcement to enhance students’ motivation, participation, and discipline, while punishment is implemented as an educational, proportional measure aligned with school regulations and Islamic boarding school culture. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study offers novelty by examining teachers’ perceptions and the implementation of reward and punishment within Islamic Religious Education learning at vocational high schools integrated with Islamic boarding schools, using an operant conditioning framework. The findings contribute to Islamic educational psychology by emphasizing humanistic and contextually grounded reinforcement and punishment practices that foster moral development, character building, and value-based learning

Abstract

Pernikahan dalam Islam bertujuan mewujudkan ketenangan batin (sakinah), cinta (mawaddah), dan kasih sayang (rahmah). Namun, dalam praktiknya sebagian perempuan Muslim tetap mengalami kesepian emosional meskipun pernikahan masih berlangsung secara formal. Kondisi ini dikenal sebagai marital loneliness, yaitu kesepian yang muncul akibat rendahnya keterhubungan emosional dalam hubungan pernikahan. Salah satu faktor yang diduga berperan penting dalam kondisi tersebut adalah dukungan emosional dari pasangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan emosional pasangan dan marital loneliness pada perempuan Muslim serta memaknai temuan empiris dalam perspektif psikologi dan psikoterapi Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 106 perempuan Muslim yang telah menikah dan dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert lima poin, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji validitas item–total, reliabilitas Cronbach’s alpha, dan korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh item instrumen valid (r ≥ 0,30) dengan reliabilitas sangat tinggi (α = 0,968 untuk dukungan emosional pasangan dan α = 0,981 untuk marital loneliness). Analisis korelasi menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara dukungan emosional pasangan dan marital loneliness (r = −0,821; p < 0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan emosional pasangan, semakin rendah tingkat kesepian emosional dalam pernikahan. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan dukungan emosional pasangan sebagai dasar pengembangan intervensi konseling pernikahan dan psikoterapi Islam guna mewujudkan keluarga yang lebih sakinah.
