Abstract

Abstract: Strategic management has evolved and spread to the management of educational institutions. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to analyze in depth the integration of organizational and HR development and the impact of this evolution in improving the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative approach, namely library research and simple descriptive statistics. The instrument used was a questionnaire of 35 questions distributed to school principals and teachers in Central Lombok. The results of the questionnaire were tabulated and descriptive analysis to determine the level of response of principals and teachers. The results showed that a comprehensive strategic management approach including strategic planning, HR competency development, and periodic evaluation proved successful in improving the quality of educational institutions through increased adaptability, competitiveness, and institutional reputation. Responses from principals and teachers, especially at the primary and junior secondary levels, also showed positive perceptions of this integration, although there were variations in scores between respondents.Abstrak: Manajemen strategik telah mengalami evolusi dan merambat dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis secara mendalam tentang integrasi pengembangan organisasi dan SDM serta dampak evolusi tersebut dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yakni library research dan statistik deskriptif sederhana. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket sebanyak 35 soal yang disebarkan kepada kepala sekolah dan guru di Lombok Tengah. Hasil angket ditabulasi dan analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui tingkat respon kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan manajemen strategik yang komprehensif meliputi perencanaan strategis, pengembangan kompetensi SDM, dan evaluasi berkala terbukti berhasil meningkatkan kualitas lembaga pendidikan melalui peningkatan adaptabilitas, daya saing, dan reputasi lembaga. Respon dari kepala sekolah dan guru terutama di jenjang SD dan SMP juga menunjukkan persepsi positif terhadap integrasi ini, meskipun terdapat variasi nilai antara responden.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has brought significant changes across various sectors, including financial management in Islamic educational institutions. This transformation necessitates a comprehensive exploration of how digital technology can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of existing financial systems. This study aims to examine the application of technology-driven financial management within Islamic educational institutions. Adopting a qualitative approach through a Systematic Literature Review, the research analyzes publications from 2014 to 2024 sourced from Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar. The findings reveal that digital technology holds substantial potential to improve efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and accountability in financial management practices. However, Islamic educational institutions face several challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, limited human resource skills, and resistance to change. The study concludes that optimizing the adoption of digital technology in financial management can significantly enhance accountability, transparency, and overall institutional performance. Concrete recommendations are provided to address existing challenges and support effective implementation.
