Abstract

The distribution route is a common issue faced by companies. Companies need to distribute goods to optimize delivery and operational shipping costs. Company XYZ distributes goods to 9 retailers. The problem encountered is that delivery relies only on the intuition of the delivery operators, which is considered suboptimal. Therefore, finding the shortest distribution distance is necessary, one of which can be done using an evolutionary algorithm. An evolutionary algorithm is a population-based stochastic search used to find optimal solutions to a problem. Additionally, distributing goods using the nearest neighbor method determines the route based on the shortest distance between retailers. Thus, the purpose of this study is to find the shortest distribution distance for goods delivered to 9 retailers using an evolutionary algorithm and the nearest neighbor method. The results show that using the evolutionary algorithm, the minimum total distance is 54.5 kilometers, with the route being warehouse-2-1-5-9-4-6-7-3-8-warehouse, while using the nearest neighbor method yields a distance of 55 kilometers, resulting in a difference of 0.5 kilometers.

Abstract

This study evaluates the efficiency performance of the motor-pump system used by the regional water utility company to identify strategies for improving efficiency. The three-phase induction motor utilized is highly dependent on the quality of the supplied voltage. The primary focus of this research includes analyzing the efficiency performance of the system, examining the electrical parameters of the three-phase induction motor, which include voltage and current imbalance, power factor, and Specific Energy Consumption (SEC). Another focus is the optimization of the motor-pump system and estimating the potential energy savings and operational cost reductions achievable within one year. The research method involves measuring electrical and hydraulic parameters. Electrical parameters were measured using a 3-phase power analyzer (type DW-6195), which records current, voltage, frequency, power, and power factor. Hydraulic parameters were measured using an electromagnetic flow meter for flow rate readings, a manometer for pressure measurements, and a measuring tape to measure the water level in the reservoir tank. All measurement results were tabulated and further analyzed to evaluate the performance of electrical parameters and compare them to the hydraulic performance of the system. The results revealed that the efficiency of the PDAM motor-pump system is below 50%, indicating the need for a comprehensive system revitalization. An inspection of electrical parameters showed that voltage deviation is below 10%, voltage imbalance is below 5%, and current imbalance ranges between 5.65% and 7.35%. All electrical parameters comply with IEEE standards. The power factor, at 0.85, also meets electrical standards. The SEC value, below 0.44 kWh/m³, indicates potential energy efficiency. Based on the pump performance curve study, the pump system can be replaced with a pump unit that has a lower electrical power rating, reducing it from 75 kW to 55 kW, while maintaining its hydraulic performance. Implementing this revitalization is expected to save up to 172,800 kWh of energy per motor per year and reduce by 18.4%.

Abstract

Energi berkelanjutan menjadi perhatian utama dalam upaya mengurangi ketergantungan pada sumber energi konvensional. Pemanfaatan energi matahari melalui solar panel semakin berkembang sebagai solusi yang ramah lingkungan dan ekonomis. Kota Banda Aceh memiliki rata-rata paparan sinar matahari sebesar 5,10 kWh/m²/hari pada tahun 2024, sehingga berpotensi untuk dikonversi menjadi listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi penggunaan solar panel dalam memenuhi kebutuhan listrik rumah tangga sebesar 9,2 kWh/hari serta menghitung payback period pengembalian investasi dari pemasangan solar panel. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif melalui simulasi perolehan energi dan ekonomi rancangan PLTS. Software RETScreen digunakan untuk potensi energi pada lokasi penelitian. Hasil simulasi rancangan PLTS kemudian dianalisis dan dibandingkan terhadap penelitian dengan sistem serupa.   Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan satu unit solar panel dapat mengurangi biaya konsumsi listrik sebesar 27,9% per hari. Selain itu, dengan penggunaan 4 hingga 5 panel, energi yang dihasilkan dapat melebihi kebutuhan rumah tangga atau menghasilkan surplus listrik. Periode pengembalian investasi dari pemasangan solar panel ini diperkirakan memerlukan waktu antara 16 hingga 20 tahun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas implementasi program MBKM Kampus Mengajar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa di sekolah tertinggal. Program ini memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk berkontribusi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah yang memiliki keterbatasan akses pendidikan. Melalui kegiatan selama 16 minggu di salah satu SDN wilayah Aceh Besar, mahasiswa membantu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap operasi matematika dasar, bangun datar, dan perhitungan sederhana. Berbagai metode diterapkan, termasuk penggunaan alat peraga, permainan edukatif, serta teknik pembelajaran interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas 1 hingga 6, yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan pemahaman konsep dasar matematika dan meningkatnya kepercayaan diri siswa dalam belajar. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keterlibatan mahasiswa melalui program Kampus Mengajar dapat menjadi model efektif dalam mendukung pendidikan di daerah tertinggal dan mengurangi kesenjangan akses serta kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pemborosan makanan merupakan tantangan lingkungan yang signifikan dan kerap terjadi di lingkungan sekolah akibat minimnya edukasi mengenai pengelolaan limbah organik. Berdasarkan data dari Bappenas, satu rumah tangga di Indonesia dapat menghasilkan hingga 1 kg limbah makanan per hari. SMA Al-Mishbah Banda Aceh menghadapi permasalahan serupa, yang ditangani melalui program pengabdian masyarakat bertajuk Nutri Revive: IoT Food Waste Composter. Program ini menerapkan komposter pintar berbasis IoT dan energi surya yang terhubung ke aplikasi mobile untuk memantau suhu, kelembapan, volume, dan status operasional secara real-time. Selama satu tahun, kegiatan meliputi perancangan alat, pelatihan kepada 40 siswa, pengumpulan sampah makanan, hingga integrasi sistem pemasaran berbasis dropshipping. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan penurunan signifikan volume limbah, peningkatan keterampilan siswa dalam produksi dan distribusi kompos, serta terbukanya peluang kewirausahaan dengan skema insentif. Kolaborasi dengan pengusaha lokal seperti panglong kayu dan petani turut memperluas dampak lingkungan program. Monitoring dan evaluasi sistem menunjukkan efektivitas teknologi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi proses komposting. Program ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi teknologi hijau dan pemberdayaan pelajar dapat menjadi strategi berkelanjutan dalam membangun budaya sekolah yang ramah lingkungan.
