Abstract

Background: Low Back Pain (LBP) is pain that arises in the lower back of the body, including the lower spine, waist, pelvis, and can radiate to the buttocks or legs. low back pain is one of the most common pains in pregnant women with an incidence of about 60%-90%. Objective: The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between gestational age, parity and nutritional status of pregnant women with the incidence of low back pain based on the Oswestry Disablity Index (ODI). Method: The research design used was non-experimental with a cross sectional research approach. This research was conducted at Wirahusada Medical Center Clinic Makassar 2022 and there were 95 research samples. This research data uses primary data from the results of filling out questionnaires by respondents. Data were processed using SPSS with the Chi-Square test. Result: The results showed that gestational age with low back pain had a p-value of 0.000, parity with low back pain had a p-value of 0.000, nutritional status based on upper arm circumference with low back pain had a p-value of 0.020, and nutritional status based on upper arm circumference with low back pain had a p-value of 0.000. Conclusion: The results showed that there was a relationship between gestational age, parity, and nutritional status of pregnant women with the incidence of low back pain based on the Oswestry Disability Index at the Wirahusada Medical Center Clinic Makassar 2022 with a p-value <0.05.

Abstract

Background : The alpha generation are those born after 2010, who are claimed to be the smartest generation because they were born and grew up in an era of rapid technological and internet development. So that we can find many toddlers who are familiar with gadgets. However, excessive use of gadgets will reduce toddler interaction with the environment and toddlers rarely communicate with people around them, this naturally disrupts the process of toddler speech and language development. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between the intensity of gadget use and the development of speech and language aspects in toddlers in Wameo Village, Baubau City. Method: This study is an observational analytic type with a cross sectional approach. This study used 77 samples taken using purposive sampling technique which were then measured using a questionnaire. Result: The results showed that toddlers who used gadgets with mild intensity experienced normal speech and language development, 10.4% of toddlers who used gadgets with moderate intensity experienced delays, and 33.8% who used gadgets with severe intensity experienced delays. Hypothesis testing using the Chi-Square Test obtained a p-velue value of 0.000 (P <0.05). Conclusion: In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the intensity of gadget use and delayed speech and language development in toddlers in Wameo Village, Baubau City.

Abstract

Reproductive health is an important issue that affects women's well-being. One issue is uterine myoma. This study aims to analyze the relationship between age, parity, obesity, and the incidence of uterine myoma at Ibnu Sina Hospital in Makassar. The study employed a descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional design and involved 106 respondents selected from medical records using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the chi-square test in SPSS version 29. The results showed no significant differences in age (p=0.245),  parity (p=0.279), or obesity (p=0.845) between women with and without uterine myoma. In conclusion, no relationship was found between these three factors and the incidence of uterine myoma at Ibnu Sina Hospital in Makassar.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Di Indonesia Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) masih menjadi masalah. Perdarahan postpartum, yang menyumbang 19,3% dari semua kematian ibu di Indonesia, adalah penyebab utama kematian bagi wanita hamil. Salah satu faktor risiko perdarahan postpartum adalah anemia. Tujuan: Bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara anemia dalam kehamilan dengan frekuensi perdarahan postpartum di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Batara Siang di Kabupaten Pangkep.. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan metodologi case control dan merupakan studi observasional analitik. Dengan total 150 sampel, sampel ini menggunakan rasio 1:1 antara kelompok kontrol dan kasus. Teknik analisis univariat dan bivariat digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Dengan uji chi-square dan perhitungan OR. Hasil: hasil uji bivariat pada variabel kadar hemoglobin trimester 1, 2 dan 3 dengan kejadian perdarahan post-partum masing-masing didapatkan hasil yang signifikan secara statistic dengan p sama dengan 0,000 (p<0,05), 0,000 (p<0,05) dan 0,000 (p<0,05), yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara ibu yang mengalami anemia pada kehamilan dengan kejadian perdarahan post-partum di RSUD Batara Siang. dan hasil OR masing-masing 25,351x, 10,804x dan 35,821x merupakan tingkat risiko untuk mengalami perdarahan post-partum. Dan penyebab perdarahan postpartum diperoleh retensio plasenta (44%), atonia uteri (28%), rupture uteri (18,6%), dan inversio uteri (9,4%). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara anemia dalam kehamilan dengan kejadian perdarahan postpartum, tingkat risiko perdarahan postpartum lebih tinggi pada anemia ditrimester 3 dan penyebab utamanya yaitu retensio plasenta.

Abstract

Currently, the problem that is being faced by the Indonesian state is the population problem. The IUD (Intrauterine Contraception) is a long-term contraceptive option, but most women prefer short-term contraception such as pills, injections and implants. This research is a descriptive survey with a cross sectional study design. The sample of this study were women of childbearing age who were married and used contraception in the working area of ​​the Batu-Batu Health Center, Marioriawa District, Soppeng Regency from January to October 2019 and a total of 2017 people. The aim of the study: to determine the factors associated with the use of the IUD in women of childbearing age as a long-term contraceptive method in the working area of ​​the Batu-Batu Health Center, Soppeng Regency. The results of the study: and mother culture. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between attitude, mother's occupation and husband's support and experience of contraception towards IUD use in women of childbearing age, while the level of age, level of education, level of knowledge, parity and mother's culture do not have a significant relationship
